Clark now a toddler is playing with his dog, Krypto out in the field while the family is out for a barbecue.
Neighbor female: you guys never said you had a child.
Martha: We adopted him.
Neighbor female: Oh, when.
Martha: around three years ago.
Neighbor female: well good job ob keeping him a secret for a long time.
They continue chatting. Meanwhile Clark gets a ball from his garage and passes it to his dog.
Neighbor male: some kid you got there Johnathan and I always thought you never wanted children.
Johnathan: yeah well look at me now.
Neighbor male: when exactly did you get him.
Johnathan: bout three years ago
As they talk Clark fails to catch his ball and rolls off. He follows it until it reaches the road. Before he catches it a truck driver gets on his flip phone as he zooms down the road. Johnathan watches as a Clark picks up the ball, but then notices a truck moving fast towards him. As soon as he sees the truck he runs towards Clark to save him
Johnathan: Clark!!!
Clark: yes dad?
The truck driver looks up and hits the breaks. Clark turns around before he gets hit and closes his eyes. When he opens his eyes again he sees the truck now on its side, he looks at himself to see no bruises. Johnathan grabs Clark.
Johnathan: are you alright.
Clark: yes dad
Johnathan hugs Clark. Martha comes running down.
Martha: oh my god, baby are you ok.
Clark: Im ok mom
Neighbor male helps the truck driver out
Truck driver: what just happened
Johnathan stands up and punches truck driver in the face. He falls back.
Johnathan: you almost hit my son, you son of a bitch. What the hell where you doing.
Neighbor male holds Johnathan back.
Truck driver: Im sorry I didn't see him.
Johnathan screams at the truck driver.
Neighbor male: what the hell could've done this.
Clark looks at the truck
To see a large dent in the engine.
In the distance two men in black watch Clark.
MIB: sir you might want to check our kent farm.
