THANK YOU FOR 2K READS!!! This was supposed to be a 1k special, but I realized that by the time I would be uploading this chapter the book was at 2K!! Thank all of you so much for reading and voting! Especially commenting! It really makes me chuckle when I see people comment about Tsukishima and him suspecting Min-Jun to be an alien. XD Those are my favorite moments to write about hehe.

Anyways, other than getting more than 2k reads, the 26 of July twas my baby Min-Jun's birthday!! Sorry for publishing this a little late, but summer school is almost done and today's my final! Pray for me pls.

Sunlight spilled into the bedroom through the half open window, illuminating everything it could reach. The morning breeze caused the white curtains to flutter, like a dancers dress as they twirl. A couple of stray leaves that had broken off their branches drifted inside with the current of the wind.

One particular leaf danced through the air, before finally drifting down and settling on the nose poking out from under the pile of blankets. It scrunched up before a hand emerged from the mess of blankets, brushing the leaf off.

Sitting up, Min-Jun sleepily blinked before turning towards the open window. Crawling out of bed -which was a difficult task since every fiber in his body was shouting at him to go back to sleep-, he shuffled over towards the window. Leaving it open over the night had been a wise decision. Fresh air definitely aided with warding off any remaining sleepiness.

Taking in the sight of the beautiful crystal clear sky, Min-Jun found himself smiling lazily. Sleeping in was something he only did on certain days as a special treat of sorts, or if he was simply exhausted from life. Eh, it happens to the best of us.

Sliding the window shut, Min-Jun began to get ready for school, a bit of a pep in his step. You see, the season the second year was happier than usual was because of a certain delivery waiting downstairs. For his birthday, his step-father, Yu-Gang had a whole birthday cake sent over. The man's desserts have always been number one, so just the thought of eating the delicious cream covered cake made his mouth water.

Rushing to finish his shower and morning routine, Min-Jun practically ran downstairs and to the kitchen. Throwing the door open, his eyes sparked at the large brown box sitting on one of the shelves. Carefully removing it and shutting the fridge door with a small bump of his hip, Min-Jun was about to open the box when a chime from his phone almost gave him a heart attack.

Placing the cake down on the table before he dropped it, Min-Jun unlocked his phone, eyebrows scrunching up in slight annoyance. How dare anyone disturb him just before he could have his cake? The audacity.

Panic filled Min-Jun as he felt his face drain of color. Rapidly typing up an apology to Daichi, explaining that he would be at school soon, he then slowly turning his gaze to the cake. The sweet scent of his fathers handmade frosting had began to waft out. Resisting temptation, Min-Jun begrudgingly placed the cake back into the fridge before rushing to the front door with his school and gym bags.
