Chapter 1: to Animacity

A/n: hello my fellow readers here is the next chapter of this story thanks for your guys support on my various stories I've did now let the chapter begin.

Y/n's pov

it's been a rough a couple of months since my parents disowning me, but screw them anyway I snuck back into their house and took a large portion of money for myself and gave some to charities for Beastmen. right now me and Michiru were at a buss station to get a two tickets to Animacity Michiru had to wear the cloak to hide her Beastman appearance as Michiru heads to the ticket machine to get us tickets I was on lookout incase some Beastmen hunters came by which I also saw a peaceful poster of humans and Beastmen holding hands with the words "let's hold hands" which made me smile. then the sounds of foot steps was heard from down the hall I motioned Michiru to the vent to which she hides in while I put the hood of my cloak on and put some ear buds in to make it look like I was listening to music. once they got close I see some of them have pipes as weapons they also stopped at the poster I saw and pulled out a spray bottle as they begin to tag the poster which made my blood boil, but I calmed myself down to not cause a scene. once they finished they left out of sight I let out a sigh of relief.

Michiru: *whisper tone* are they gone?

Y/n: yeah it's safe to come out.

she then opens the vent and crawls out we then were about to leave but we saw the tag on the poster as it said "die Beastmen!" I put my hand on Michiru's head to get her mind off of the tag. as we made it out of the hall Michiru jumps on top of the bus with her speed I got on the top with my parkour skills which I practiced through the years in my free time once I got on top we lay flat on the top to lay low until we're out of sight of any bystander as the bus starts up and makes it's routes. once we were sure that we were away from the city we got up sitting down on the Roof of the bus once that happen I took off my hood to let my h/c hair loose as Michiru did the same with her hood along with her tail moving from under the cloak. we both let out a sigh as we look on ahead to see Animacity out in the distance across the water which was a beautiful sight to see with the setting sun.

Y/n: we're getting close.

Michiru: yeah.....Animacity

Y/n: I'll admit the city looks beautiful from a distance with the setting sun.

she let's out a little giggle as I gave a playful rub on her head then we heard her found let out a sound as Michiru takes out her phone see what it is while I see that Michiru looks more beautiful in the light of the setting sun. I then look over to see it's a video on the Sylvasta Pharmaceutical's website which the Video showed the Mayor of Animacity talking about how it's the city where Beastmen can live as Beastmen. as we both look on ahead with smile an arrow was suddenly shot behind us hitting Michiru's phone missing her hand we both turned around the people from the bus station riding on bikes as the one with the crossbow fires another arrow.

Y/n: Michiru!

I managed to make her duck down with the arrow missing us both, but the sudden movement caused us to fall off from the bus I wrapped myself to cushion the blow for Michiru. Luckily she used her tail to increases it in size cushioning both our fall we both came to a stop from rolling only to see the group still chasing us.

Y/n: Michiru! run!

Michiru: oh! no!

we both ran as fast as we could as I heard one of the guys on motorcycles comes up behind us. I look back to see that he was about to hit Michiru with the pipe, but I grabbed it before he could swing it and punch him in the face with enough force to knock him off his bike. as we continued running Michiru got on the rail on all fours I then see the one with the crossbow next to us ready to shoot at Michiru, but I tackled Michiru to avoid the arrow before it could hit her as we both came tumbling down but I used my body to soften the fall for Michiru. once we came to a stop on the ground Michiru moves off of me and checks to see if I'm okay
