We picked a random table by the huge windows which look out on to the ground. Ah, my second last day of school. The 25th of May, 2015. This school had so many memories.......

I had found my current best friend, Ami, here. She is such a weirdo, but I wish I'd become friends with her sooner. I lied to her saying that I'd never seen her before. I had, in fact. Everyone had. She had an extremely cold exterior. She'd barely had any emotions ever show on her face. She didn't have any friends. I know that she had lived in India before, and had only joined our school when high school started. I didn't know much about her past, and decided that it would be better if she told me herself. I wonder why she put up such a tough exterior, when she's the softest person ever. If you hum the first line to "Love story" by Taylor Swift once, she starts tearing up. If she trusts you, that is. Which she obviously doesn't. 

I wish we can be best friends forever. She understands me so well. And she doesn't press me too much if I don't feel like it. I remember how shocked everyone had been when I sat with Ami in class for the first time. Ah, they probably thought that she would punch me or something, but (dramatic gasp) she didn't. Instead, she smiled, and pulled a free chair towards herself. Everyone was so shocked, that people finally stopped bullying me. Bullying...

I turned my head towards the side and flinched. Ami, who'd been peacefully eating for so long, suddenly looked up at me, swallowed her food, and frantically asked, "Are you okie, Bunny? What's wrong? How many people do I have to beat the crap out of this time? Did anyone hurt you? OMG OMG OMG OMG KOO ARE YOU OKIE??????" 

That made me smile. She is so precious. I'm never letting her go. She feels like my soulmate. The twin I never had. (A/N-*author-nim cries in "Ion have no soulmate"*)

"Chill, I was thinking of Miss Fishy, the girl who thinks I am her oppa."

"Seriously, boy? Right in front of my fish and ttokbokki?" she asked, mock-trusfrated.

"Chill, don't get so trusfrated over nothing," I casually said in English, before munching on another huge mouthful of ttokbokki.

"That's not the right word you pabo," she said, slamming a palm to her forehead. "It's FRUS-TRA-ted," she giggled. 

"You're just like my hyung, even he tried explaining-"

"But you're too much of a coconut head to understand, aren't you?"

Scratch everything I said about Lee Adorami. I will throw her into a volcano one day.

"Shut up. Who are you taking to prom, anyway?" I asked, trying to change the topic.

Her eyes darkened. "Hehehe, lol, I'm not going." she said, in English, again. 

"Why though?"

"mmm, I don't know, I just don't want to," she absentmindedly said in Japanese. I almost replied back in Japanese, before I quickly caught myself from slipping. 

"Huh?" I put on a concerned look.

Whew, that was close, I thought.

She snapped out of her trance and quickly tried to laugh it off, by saying "Pfft, I'm such an idiot, I started talking in Japanese." I made an "Oh" face, in response. She sighed, and then continued, "I don't want to go with anyone, to be honest. It's a waste of time anyway. Who cares, school is literally over, right?"

"Is it more like you don't know who to go with?" I asked.

"Yea fine, you caught me, to be honest," she sighed, rubbing the nape of her neck.

"I don't know who to go with either-"

"Excuse me, is this seat taken," she asked Ami. Jennie Kim. The most popular girl in our school. Also my cousin.

 Ami shrugged casually. "Nope, you're free to sit here as long as you don't annoy Jungkook here."

"Oh don't worry about that dear, he's my cousin anyway." Jennie gushed sweetly. It was Ami's turn to put on a concerned look, which soon melted into a more relaxed look, after she saw me nod and smile.

Jennie quickly sat down, before excitedly asking, "Have you two found a date to prom yet? It's a week away!" Me and Ami rolled our eyes. 

"I'm not even going. I don't have a date." Ami blurted. Jennie looked at her in surprise.

"Wait, hasn't anyone asked you out yet? You're a whole boss bitch!" Jennie exclaimed, lightly slapping Ami's arm.

"Haha, they have, but I said no, because they weren't my type." Wait what? She didn't even tell me! I'll get her to spill the tea later. I need the details. 👁👄👁💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽

"Am I your type?" Jennie drawled, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively. EW.

"Why yes, you're perfect, to be honest," Ami smirked evilly. WOW. I DID NOT EXPECT THAT. "No, but on a serious note, if Koo is your cousin, I'd wanna be friends with you too." 

"Same, Adorami. Hey, I'll call you Mi, and you can call me Ni!" Jennie gushed excitedly. I rolled my eyes. Seriously?! These two.... 😑😑😑.

"THAT'S GREAT OMG!" They then proceeded to exchange numbers, before the bell rang. 

"Bye Ni! I lobe you so muchhhhhhhhh!!!!" Ami screamed, sprinting to the next class.

"Bye Mi!!! I LOBE YOU TOO!" She screamed back sprinting to her next class, in the opposite direction.

Aish, these girls. Complete pains. Yet 2 of the only 5 girls I could ever tolerate.

Sigh. My life is a mess.

*TIME SKIP TO 11 PM CUS WHY NOT*

I let myself fall onto my bed. Today had been a long, boring day. But nothing could make it worse now. I smiled. My phone buzzed. I sighed, and picked it up, opening my messages.

I was so wrong. My whole existence is just depressing, so of course, this had to happen.

I groaned, knowing I'd never be able to sleep tonight before 5 am.
