I awoke from the dream panting and sweaty. Out side a thunder storm was staring I could see the lightning it was getting closer and closer. Brandon wasn't in the room. The clock read that it was 3:00am I went to go look for Brandon in his office. He wasn't there. I heard screaming and shouting coming from out side. A piercing scream was heard from one of the rooms. I ran to go find out why people were screaming. Another Scream filled the halls "Daddy" i took off towards Sofia's room. She was under her bed her window was shattered into pieces. A large, grey wolf about the size of a beta was in the room. The wolf was about to launch himself towards Sofia when i threw myself at the wolf. The wolf flipped us so that i was on the bottom, he bit me on the shoulder and started to what seemed to me like ripping my shoulder off. I screamed in pain but i coudn't faint because if i did I knew that i would be a goner. A large Black wolf appeared at the door growling. The grey wolf froze for a second then stared to growled too. The black wolf slowly came up to the grey one. They circled each other until the black Wolf had his back to us.The black wolf made the first move and attacked the grey one he pulled on his fur to go out into the hall. I reached under the bed.

"Sofia its okay its just me Annabelle. Come out please its safe ill protct you." My sholder was huting really nad but I tryied to not let it show.

She peeked from under the bed her eyes red from crying. I pulled one of the blankets from her bed and held it out to her. She crawled out from under the bed.

"Shh its going to be okay." i used a soft voice to clam her.Brandon came running in.

"Daddy" Sofia was reaching up for Brandon to carry her. Wait Daddy? did i hear right was Brandon her father. WHere's her mother? Does Brandon even want me? Why is Sofia not with her mother?

"Anna we need to go to the safe house. I must keep you safe please come with me i can explain. Please just come with me." I follow him not really knowing what he was saying. I coudn't under stand they were just words my brain wasn't thinking. Dose Brandon like me. "There's a passage under the stair closet go down it." Wolfs entered the house i looked back Brandon was already fighting them. I stared into his eyes for a split second and knew he would explain; but for now i needed to be safe. I ran down the stairs. I had to cross the second floor hallway to get to the first row. Many wolfs were still in there rooms. They were all looking at me. they looked scared lost and sleepy and confused.

"Follow me i'll keep you safe." they all bowed there head. Now if only i could find the passage.

with the pack following me i went down the stairs to the first floor. Just like Brandon had said.then i went under the stairs into the coat closet. There were boxes stacked on top of each other blocking the little trap door. I coudn't move them. There were two boys almost at transformation age. "could you help me move the boxes please."

"Yes Alpha" is all that they said.

The boxes were cleared and everyone filed in to the safe house. After everyone was inside I took Sofia in my arms and went down the stairs into the safe house. (Brandon's mom) was getting everyone settled when she saw me coming down the stairs. "there you are I was getting worried." She was walking towards me,"let me show you to your room."

"This is your room" the room was about the size of my old room. It had the basics A bed a small TV with a VHS, a bathroom with a shower and a closet.

"there's some pajamas in the closet. Let me take Sofia. She can sleep with me."

"NO that's fine ill get her ready for bed she can stay with me"

"Are you shure"

"Yes." I don't really think i could stay alone. I don't think i could stay calm if i was with one of my Friends. and being with Sofia made me realize that i have allot of people depending on me to make the best decisions for the pack.

"i'm going to make sure every one is comfortable i'll check on you in a bit. My room is the first one on the left if you need any thing.
