These are people who are so close they are pretty much family. They won't leave to hang out with others. I had a friend who seemed amazing but ended up being the worst friend I ever had. She left me behind and that's not a friend. But now I have trustworthy friends that stay by my side. If they won't stand up for you when you need it find better friends that won't leave you. A friend is what family is outside of the bloodline.
