It was evening ,the whole day Manik was worried ,tensed what not.

At first he thought that Alya might have  changed her decision ,but early in the morning she called and started her baby talks.

And informed him that she will come with Mr.Sexsena in the night for the dinner , actually an uninvited dinner.

It was 7:30 and In Malhotra mansion every one were sitting together  even Nandani was present.

They were discussing on IPL .

Laughing , eating and Manik was sitting in the corner as he knew these smiling faces where going to change into frowning ones soon .

Soon Mr Saxsena arrived with Alya .

Raj and Ram were little shocked to see him suddenly.

They formally greeted each other.

Their was silence for a minute which was broken by Mr sexsena.

Mr.sexsena- So mr Malhotra I hope you know about Alya and Manik relationship.

Raj nodes his head in yes.

Mr sexsena- So which date should we fix?

Raj looked at him with confusion.

What date?

Mr sexsena - Date for engagement of Alya nad Manik( grinning)

Manik closed his eyes , waiting for the bomb to be blast.

While everyone were shocked to the core.

No one said anything.

A- I am so happy dad thankyou.(kissing his cheeks)

While Nyonika was first one to come out of shock.

She glared at Manik ,who was sitting in the corner .

She comes in front of him.

Nyo- So you wanna get engaged with her?

I am talking to you Manik ,look at me!

Manik was just staring at her and slowly nodes his head in yes.

Nyo- Wow ,very good you are just 24 not even completed your studies .

Wanna get engaged ,very nice!(sarcastically)

Manik opened his mouth to his defence but Alya interrupts him.

A- Don't worry Aunty ,it's just a month or two Manik will complete his all studies and even now also he works at Malhotra office occasionally isn't it?

He is adult enough!

And I will be very supportive to him aunty.(smiling)

And I think 24 can be perfect age to be engaged.

Haina Manik?

Manik doesn't respond to her so mr sexsena again spoke.

Mr Sexsena- It's such a happy moment mr Malhotra ,we are going to be bound by a relationship.(laughing)

Common now smile.

Raj after this long spoke.

Raj- Well now I don't think I have any right to say anything.

Like the news of my son's engagement ,i am getting it from you.

What else can I expect (sarcastically   laughing looking at Manik)

He moved towards Manik and patted his back.

Raj- Bada hogya hai mera beta ab ,khud ke decisions khud leta hai.

Haina?

M- Dad (sadly)

Raj- No no it's you life ,who I am so say anything .

Nyonika pandit ji se kheh ker date final kerwado badi jaldi hai logo ko engage hone ki.

Oh wait , date bhi fix hogaya haina?(sarcastically)

Alya- oh yes uncle I talked with my pandit ji he said after two weeks it's a best date of the year....( Trying to act sweetly)

Raj- Superb!

Hum invited toh haina Manik?

M- Dad please it's not like you are taking it.

Nyonika chuckles looking at her spineless son for now.

Like what has happened to her smart son!

He is acting like a fool a complete donkey.

Raj- Well last but not the least I have some very important news to share with you all tomorrow morning.

So Mr sexsena please be there for the breakfast tomorrow with you daughter.

Thankyou.(joining his hands)

Saying this he moved to his room.

While feeling insulted Mr sexsena too left with Alya as they didn't even asked him to sit forget about dinner.

Nyonika looked at Murthy's who were just sitting silently feeling neglected,but at the same time they knew Malhotra's need them.

They are true friends!

Sakshi sat with Nyonika ,while Ram goes to Raj upstairs.

And Nandani she wasn't feeling anything different .

Maybe she knew something like this will happen sooner or later.

She slowly moves out of the mansion after giving a smile to Manik as a good night.

While Manik felt his heart lost a beat looking at her smiling face.

Here every one was in turmoil and this girl with her smile kept his heart on fire.

He felt more restless then before!

Suffocating is the word!

But at the last what Mr Malhotra was going to tell tomorrow morning?

This was the question roaming in everyone's head even Nyonika doesn't know anything.
