First encounters don't have to be special.

First impressions don't necessarily have to be good.

And first impressions don't always last.

Vincent didn't really know much about America, but here he was, the second damn time around. Back in Beverly Hills, two months after his initial visitation for Vidcon. How he had gotten enough funds to go back so fast in that small timeframe no one had no idea, but another meet up with everyone was always appreciated.

However this time was very much different. It's Twitchcon, not Vidcon.

He didn't really know why he felt compelled to come to this conference he barely knew about. Given, he was a streamer there as every other Youtuber was, but he was more familiar with the latter. Still, he had expected these two events to be the same, but he was in for a damn surprise.

When he had entered, it was already a nice sight for everyone. The purple motif of the streaming platform was everywhere but it was a good design in the huge area that everyone had appreciated the art. Some decorations had Halloween undertones to them as the month was close to the holiday itself. And the most notable difference was the demographics - Twitchcon had a more mature audience unlike the teens and tweens he'd commonly find in Vidcon. Instead of the corridors drowned with rowdy kids and exasperated mothers, there were cosplayers and people in their 30's+ discussing in civility yet excitement.

Vincent was just finishing his tour around the computer setup displays (He saw Ninja playing there, he thinks) where others were allowed to play competitively when a sudden wave of nausea had hit him. 'Oh god,' he thought as he stumbled a bit when he straightened up. His plane's schedule was so delayed that he actually went straight from the airport to the con, and he was still in the process of finding the others.

Maybe he should have just rendezvoused with Skeppy and everyone else first before plunging into this new area. Before the French man could even notice, he was already tilting backwards, ready to fall-

"Woah there! Are you okay?" Vincent felt a presence behind him and he'd only noticed a pressure by his lower back. Dazed, he let himself be pushed back outright, the woman's voice guiding towards the benches by the side of the hallway.

And when he finally took a seat, he finally saw his assistant. A girl definitely shorter than him had her (H/C) tied into a low ponytail, looking left and right at the crowd in a calm yet frantic manner. With the few populace of women he knew in and out of the online world, Vincent barely knew who this person was.

"Uhm, let's see. Here, you should drink up," the female revealed a water bottle she had in her hand all this time, uncapping it as she lent the beverage to him. He had realized it was unopened beforehand but he was already gulping it down.

"I'm really sorry about that," you quirked your head to the side when you realized his accent wasn't American, "I just unboarded a plane and went straight to here."

"Oh my, you should take it easy, it's gonna get crammed here soon enough." Airy in thoughts, a6d could only hum in response as he ended up drinking all of the water. He mumbled a flustered apology, but you assured that it was fine.

While you were still looking left and right, Vincent busied himself with staring at the dangling purple lanyard around your neck. It had little Twitch logos all over it, and as he looked further down he saw the white ID card that he tried so hard to focus on as it bounced around with your movements. The more he tried to focus, the more sick he gets.

'I'm gonna puke,' was his clear signal as he covers his mouth. And as you saw this, you pulled out a random plastic bag out of your pocket to offer. You're so ready for anything, you could almost be a girl scout. He held onto the bag but he was yet to actually vomit anything, just a precaution.
