As we came to the door joe opened the door to max's parents. "Welcome please follow me" joe said taking them to the dining room. "we didn't have the time to meet earlier. im Alayna and this is my sister Natalie" I said smiling at them. "I'm Lucy and this is lance and our son max. Thank you for inviting us over." she said sitting down. "why did you invite us you have a habit of not mingling with people." lance said. "change of heart" nat said they nodded. Mary came with the food. "thank you mary" I said and she nodded. "please dig in" nat said smiling at them. they put some on their plates and we did too "your house was empty for awhile where did you go" Lucy asked. "I decided to move but keep the house so I was merely on vacation I might decide to go back though." I said looking at her she nodded. "Your guest ms. Alayna" joe said. I looked at him. "oh he's with me my son Michel" Lucy said. I nodded. "he looks like a player"nat mumbled so only I could hear. "yea he has lipstick near his ear and hickeys on him." I whispered back. "he's single and actually 18" Lucy said. she was trying to set us up. "Interesting if he goes north here we found some really amazing people up there we actually got engaged up there our husbands are on a business Trip" I said to her. "oh how unfortunate we couldn't meet then" she said looking at us. "why don't you stay over for the night it might be fun I mean we can have a small little party neighbor to neighbor" nat said knowing a plan. "we would love too" Michel said his mother smiled. "do you want to play ball" max asked looking at his parents. "he always wants to play ball we just don't have the time max" his father said. "excuse me" I said standing up. i walked over to the wall. "darek please open up the gym and get some fun ball activities together" I said to the wall. the family looked at me. "you got it darling " he replied . "our house is voice automated." nat said I nodded and sat back down after eating I walked to the gym. "What kind of ball does he play" I asked "volleyball a girls game and yet he plays it" his father sounded annoyed about it. "start volleyball game for kids" I called and it got set up. "Natalie could you go start a game with max" I asked she nodded grabbing his hand. "your kids are important spend time with them as much as you can they won't be here forever and neither will you. my father died when I was little an I never got to hang out with him I hated myself after that. and hang out with your brother instead of hanging out with a different girl each week. soon your brother isn't going to be there and you might not be there either. my sister died and I barley hung out with her I hated myself even more. if you don't do it now you will die for it later" I stated and went and joined nat Lucy ran over taking her heels off and kneeled next to him and hugged him. "let's play ball" she said to him his face brightened so much he ran over to his dad and brother. "daddy daddy do you want to play ball too? do you want to play ball Mikey do you?" he asked all excited they nodded their heads "we will let you guys play" nat said and we sat down. after words they said thank you and left. "We just helped that little boy" nat said I nodded. "come on nat let's get some sleep" I said to her as we got ready for bed and fell asleep. even though I probably wouldn't get much.
