Yoongi leaned against the railing of the ship; tightly gripping onto the wooden exterior as the waves beneath him crashed calmly against the sides of the boat. His knuckles were white as he blankly looked out in thought and felt the sea lightly splatter droplets against his face.

He hadn't slept well if at all, and not because of the steady rocking of the ship throughout the night as he laid below deck. It was because his mind was burdened with unavoidable thoughts and emotions. These same feelings consumed him even now, and he didn't know what to do.

"I'll try to figure something out. But if I can't, just forget about me, OK? If by three days I don't come back, get married and be happy."

"I don't know if that's possible."

"What? A solution or your happiness?"

"Both."

Yoongi poked his tongue against his inner cheek before lowering his head in defeat. Anxiously running his hands through his hair, he struggled in searching for answers. How was he supposed to find a way to break off the engagement?

He had nothing. Your families company needed money, and lots of it. He couldn't just steal you away for this and other reasons, even when you had begged him to. Unlike your fiance, he had nothing to offer that would fix the looming problem at hand. Besides, Junho had told the two of you that he had already given the money. You however were still expected to seal the deal, and it seemed as if the only plausible right thing to do would be to go through with it.

A part of him wanted to angrily protest that the company probably wasn't so important anyway and your family didn't need all the money so Junho could just take it back, but these thoughts made his heart sink when he realized how selfish they were. Even besides the fact that it was your families source of income, your father had tons of employees that could loose their jobs. Maybe they depended on the job's income to pay bills and to make it to the next day. Yoongi could relate to this more than anything.

Still, it just wasn't fair. Angrily gritting his teeth, Yoongi recalled how Junho had talked to him before he had boarded the boat for his long ride home.

Yoongi hesitated as he peered at the boat in front of him and fought all willpower to not turn around and run back to you. This didn't feel right. He didn't want to be even a few feet apart away from you, much less miles. This looming thought flooded his body with dread as he realized that he was officially leaving. And that he may never see you again.

The sight of a few small things being packed and loaded for him onto the boat only made this dread more surreal. They were gifts from your fiance, but after what Yoongi had done with you in the closet, accepting them made him feel sick. Everything was so bad right then that he felt as if maybe he had done something wrong to make him deserve punishment. Whatever it was he wasn't sure, but torment flooded his veins as the setting sun behind the boat only worsened the pain in his heart.

You wouldn't even be seeing him off. After exiting the closet and promising to try to come up with a solution in the next three days, you had both silently walked to dinner. Yoongi took his plate and left. You stayed for a dinner with your fiance. His last look at you had been you sitting down at a table with another man. It was a haunting sight.

In his stiffened and thinking form, Yoongi hadn't even noticed a presence come up behind him.

"Are you leaving now, Yoongi?" Questioned a male voice, and Yoongi whirled around to see Junho. Contrary to his previous aura, he gave off a cold and slightly ominous vibe. He wasn't smiling like he usually did when you were in his presence.
