That night I decided to head back home, not wanting to think about what happened. I didn't feel like taking a cab, so I went ahead and walked for a bit, to clear my mind. Eventually I arrive at my flat building, so I open up my apartment door, stepping inside. My cat greets me with a small meow, so I pet her in return. She always waits for me at the door. Having some company at home makes me feel a little less alone, you know?
After petting her, I head over to the kitchen, open the fridge and grab a bottle of water. I didn't realize how thirsty I was before. After basically chugging it, I head over to my bedroom. I put on a simple shirt as a pajama and lie down.
I take one look over to my right, out of my window. The stars are still out and the moon softly shines in my room. There's no cloud to be seen. The scenery is almost movie-like.
I close my eyes and try to go to sleep. Which is hard, obviously. Because, suddenly everything starts to creep up to me. Was anything of that even real?
I think about the guy that basically saved me from getting arrested. What did he mean with that note? Why should I avoid him to not get hurt? Is he with some secret organization or something?
Thinking about it makes my head hurt.
I hope he didn't put me on some kind of watchlist or something. Also, what was up with that train? You've never seen something like that before. Now, you understand some basic physics, but everyone can see that technology he used was out of this world. How did the motorcycle even fly like that? Maybe he was from the future? And the train was some sort of wormhole, which was supposed to bring him back to his old time. You don't know.
Then, you start thinking about how close you held him, and, how tall he was. He even dropped you off near the city. His hands were big, too.
Your face gets red.
Man, is my bar really set that low?
I haven't even seen his face.
You think to yourself, and you chuckle a little. Before you know it you slowly fall asleep.

You can feel the sunlight shine on your face, softly calling you to wake up.
However, you can feel something else on you, too.

I open my eyes to see my cat is jumping on me energetically. She meows at me when she notices I'm awake, probably indicating that she wants to have some food. I groan and pet her, before slowly getting out of bed. I walk to the kitchen to go feed my cat. After that I walk over to the bathroom to take a shower. I grab a towel and then turn on the shower, letting it get warm. I step in and wash my hair for a bit. The shower makes my head more clear, I can focus a bit more, and get a little more awake. After a few minutes I step out and dry myself off. I put on some fresh clothes from my closet. Some jeans and a simple shirt will do, you weren't really planning on going outside today, anyways. I walk past the kitchen to see that my cat is done eating, and I walk back to my bedroom. I make my bed a tiny bit and sit down.

I look over to my right and grab my now charged phone. There's some twitter notifications on it and some other uninteresting things as well. I scroll through them for a bit, before noticing a text message from an unknown phone number.

Unknown
'Good morning. How are you doing?'

Who texts with correct grammar like that?? It's probably the wrong number, you think to yourself. But your gut feeling tells you something else. You choose to ignore that thought and just go with a simple response.

Y/n
'hey sorry dude you got the wrong phone number lol'

After sending it, you close your phone and put it in your pocket. You head back over to your kitchen to go start making some breakfast. You put two loafs of bread in the toaster, and start making some eggs and bacon. You wait for a bit before the toast is finished. It lets out a small sound, which startles you. At the same time, you hear your phone buzz. It's probably that wrong number guy. The eggs and bacon are done now as well, and you choose eating over responding to a text.
While eating your pretty good meal, your phone starts buzzing again, and again.

Annoyed, you open your phone.

Unknown
'Hm, are you sure?'

Unknown
'Because I'm pretty sure this is
Y/N.'

Unknown
'Come on, don't ignore me, puppy'

Huh? You start sweating a bit. Who is this guy? The gut feeling comes back again. No. It can't be. You shakily type out a response, ignoring the nickname.

Y/N
'are you the tall bunny dude from yesterday? i thought you asked me to leave you alone.'

You reply. The message was read quickly and a response was sent.

Unknown
'Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Good girl.'

Your face turns red again. Fucking prick.

Unknown
'I changed my mind, that's all. You were quite brave, following me like that. So I decided it might be fun to mess with you. '
He replies. But, you didn't know that wasn't the truth.

Who does he think he is?? You think to yourself.

Y/N
'why the fuck are you texting me?? do you need money or something? go find someone else im fucking broke'

Unknown
'I don't want your money. As I said earlier, I just want you.'

He might want you, that's fine.
But you? You just wanted awnsers.

Y/N
'only if you explain how the fuck that motorcycle worked'

You almost wanted to ask about the train, but then you would basically ask to be on a hit list. So you pretended to only know about the motorcycle.

Unknown
'Alright, how about we meet up? I would like to see you again.'

Unknown
'The abandoned tunnel, 1 am. Don't be late.'

You know what? Fuck it. You didn't really have much to lose anyways. So why not just go? You knew that wasn't the only reason you wanted to see him again, but you ignored it.

Y/N
'fuck you i'm in'

You close your phone.
Yeah, let's go meet up with the mysterious stranger. Sounds fun!
You look down at your plate.

"Shit my eggs are cold now."
