I've been here for who knows how long and I'm surprised I haven't lost my sanity

I kept bitching about how bored I was as a bright light assaulted my eyes

I could hear the distant cries of a baby as I attempted to open my eyes for the first time in what felt like years

My eyes felt like they were glued shut with a shit ton of gorilla glue

My eyes eventually stopped being stubborn and I was able to open them but I quickly closed them as the light was unbearable

I opened them little by little as I adjusted to the light

Everything looked as if a blur filter had been slapped on into my eyes

Slowly but surely my eyes became clearer and I heard the cries of the baby stop

By now I could guess that the baby that was crying was most probably me.

Guess I really did reincarnate...

I felt myself be passed into the arms of a woman, her embrace was warm and I could practically feel love radiating from her

"Oh... My precious little princess..." Her voice cracked as her tears seemed to never end
