Chapter 3

TOBY POV

I woke up early to try and make xenah breakfast because I want to try and get to know her more. But I don't even know what food she likes, then that's when i saw hoodie walk in in only his boxers.

HOODIE POV

I woke up from the sound of steps coming down from outside my room. I tried to fall alsleep again but failed to, accepting my defeat i went downstairs to get a piece of cheesecake before Masky woke up and ate the rest.

When i walked down i saw Toby with a tray and some waffles on it "morning Toby" i said "hey hoodie" he replied "do u know if Xenah has a favorite breakfast food" he asked. I looked at him a bit puzzeled, "um shes not really a breakfast person, usually she just eats a piece of fruit and that's it" i said

"She does have a liking to pizza though" I added. "is that her favorite food" he asked while getting a frozen pizza out of the freezer and putting it in the oven. i nooded and walked towards the fridge grabbing a piece of cheesecake and sat down digging into it.

"Thanks" I said to him, "what?" Toby asked "I'm usually in charge of making xenah's food since she's so bad at cooking, so thank you" I explained. "But why are you making her food" i asked slightly tilting my head. "um" he said "um?" i replied back " i don't know" he answered

TOBY POV again

i walked into xenahs room, she was already up and dressed. I knocked on her already opened door with my foot

"come in" she said, I put the tray on the bed and sat down across from her "what's this for" she asked "this is my, welcome gift to you I should say" i said "oh Toby you didn't have to do that" she laughed

"Have you ever been in love?" I asked as she sat and beside me with her food, "thats random..but yeah I have. You?" She asked, "no, I can't say I have" I replied. "Who was the person? The one you loved?" I asked. "Oh..her name was Selena, I met her in heaven" xenah answered

"Heaven? I thought you were from hell" I asked, "my mom is from hell and my dad is from heaven. They both are rulers" she explained

'what happened to Selena?" is what i was about to ask before masky and hoodie came in.

MASKY POV

me and hoodie walked in xenahs room all ready to go out and have "normal" fun. when we walked in toby was there? i was confused, toby gives me weird vibes so maybe I was just overthinking, probably because he's the reason we're here in the first place.

"hey Toby you wanna come with us?" xenah asked the twitching kid. The boy shook his head yes and with that we all headed out to the town.

TOBY POV

we were at the edge of the forest when xenah shifted into her human form, it was quite beautiful to be honest. her eyes were like honey and a skin tone of a dark brown and wavy mid length hair. We snuck into a theater and watched Halloween, it was pretty good.

before we did the lazer tag hoodie wanted to look around in hot topic, me and xenah stood out side waiting for them to finish looking. after about 20 minutes of waiting xenah walked away heading towards a ferris wheel.

it was quite tall and big. "Come with me" she said. i was hestianat at first but agreed. we went on and lets just say i was scared shitless but xenah seemed so calmed and she starting laughing.

XENAH POV

we were at the top of the ferris wheel when i looked over at A terrified Toby. I started laughing at him, he was hanging onto the pole as if he was going to die. "what are you laughing at" he said " nothing its just cute how scared you are" i replied

then he said "haha yes i know very ammusing but how are you not scared" "in my normal form I have wings, I just never have them out" I said. "why not?" He asked, "because there ugly" I replied

I'm glad toby agreed to come with us, Im having a great time with him.

CLOCKWORK POV

When Xenah, Toby and her proxies left i started getting to work on my plan to make masky mine. I decided that i will get hoodie drunk and make it seem that he cheated on masky with jane since she owed me a solid anyways. i will set my plan in motion tommorow and by the end of the week masky will be mine.
