"Y'all I wanna get Nene out the house, she been trapped inside that room all day" I said as I laid in my bed on the phone with Kia and Drea.
"We should all go out to eat" I suggested.
"No offense, I know ha moms just passed and all but I still ain't get an apology from the day she dissed us" Drea said and I sighed.
"She got hella shit on her plate, and you worried bout an apology?" I asked and she shrugged.
"I mean, I didn't get one either. But i'm pretty sure that wasn't even directed to us, it was mainly Juice nem" Kia said and I nodded my head with my eyebrows furrowed.
"Exactly, but Andrea youn gotta go if youn want too. It's no problem" I said mumbling the last part.
"What time you plan on going Sydnee?" Kia asked me.
"We can go around 6. I'll ask Sariah and Tori to come as well" I said then Drea scoffed.
"Dang you replacing niggas like that?" Drea said and I mugged her.
"Bitch you made it seem like yeen wanna go cause youn fuck wit my cousin or sum. So I said youn gotta go if youn want to, the fuck?" I said and she nodded.
"Fasho det, but aye look ima call y'all later" she said and I shrugged.
"Aight, talk to you later" I mumbled then she left the call.
"She doing 10 much" Kia mumbled and I agreed.
"But whatever, i'm finna go tell Nene bout the dinner" I said.
"Aight lemme know" she said hanging up. I got out the bed making my way to the guest bedroom.
I knocked 3 times before opening the door. I looked over at her in the bed laying down on her phone.
"Hey" I mumbled.
"Wassup" she said turning to look at me.
I sat on the edge of the bed then thought about what to say. I didn't wanna just talk about dinner, I wanted to assure her that I'm here if she needed me.
"I hope you're hungry" I said.
"I am, what you cooked?" she asked and I chuckled.
"Tuh, Sydnee ain't cook shit. But I planned for you, me, Kia, Tori, and Sariah to go out to eat" I paused. "Well I gotta see about Tori and Sariah" I said and she nodded.
"Fasho" she said then stretched.
"Are you okay though?" I asked her and she blew air out of her mouth.
"Yeah, I can't make it seem like my life just stopped. I gotta keep going, no matter what" she said and I nodded.
"You think heaven is real?" I asked in curiosity and she nodded. "Of course" she said.
"I can't get Symere out of my head. The dream just felt so real, like I felt his presence next to me or something" I said thinking about it.
"You heard that lil saying: If you can remember your dream it was a message?" she asked me and I nodded.
"Yeah, I used to have dreams that Key told me he loved me but it never happened, till Yesterday" I said then formed a small smile.
"Awe, that's so cute. One day I wish to have what you have. That man really loves you, I can see it when he looks at you" she said then gave me a tight lipped smile.
"And you will. I promise" I said and she nodded.
"Thanks" she mumbled.
"I'm so fucking mad, my birthday is finna be ruined" I sighed and she chuckled.
"At least after your birthday you won't have no stress on your back trynna figure out who finna snake you" she pointed out and I shrugged.
"Right, but i'm finna go get dressed. Kia just made a reservation at Steak 48" I said getting up off the bed.
"Alright" she said getting out the bed and I made my way to my bedroom.

"Whew, y'all look good" Sariah gassed as Nene and I walked up to them. They were standing outside the building waiting on us to pull up.
"Thanks babe, hey y'all" I said going over to hug Tori, Kia & Sariah.
"You don't look so bad yourself" Nene said hugging Sariah after me.
"Kia before I say anything else, I just want to apologize for my actions. It shoulda never went down like that" Nene said and Kia smiled and brought her into a hug.
"Apology accepted" Kia said before releasing the hug.
"Let's go eat man, i'm hungry as hell" Tori said and we all mugged her.
"For somebody that's not paying for their own meal I suggest you be patient li mama" I said and she sucked her teeth following after me into the building.
"Reservation for Kia Duren" Kia said to the man and he looked into his computer before leading us to a booth.
"I'll get you guys a waiter in just a second" he said walking off.
"Something don't feel right" Tori said looking around. I scrunched my face up looking at her.
"What you mean?" I asked.
"Where's Drea?" she asked and I rolled my eyes in my head.
"She wanted to stay home, so that is where she is at" I said scanning the menu trying to change the topic.
"Ooo y'all ever had fried deviled eggs before?" Kia asked looking into the menu as well.
"Nope, but they sound nasty as hell" Tori said and Kia lowly laughed.
"Hi my name is Kyra and I'll be your waitress for today. Can I start you off with any drinks?" Kyra asked us and we all nodded.
"May I have a sprite" Tori asked and she frowned up her face.
"We no longer have sprite, but can I get you a Sierra Mist?" she asked and Tori's face froze.
"No thank you, just do a lemonade then" she said.
"Who the fuck don't got sprite, what kinda ghetto shit is this" she mumbled but I heard her making me laugh.
We all ordered our drinks, then our food and we began to feast.
"Whew boy, Sydnee yo bill finna be high den a mafucka" Tori said covering her mouth as she chewed.
I raised my upper lip staring at her through the side of my eye then put my focus back on my filet mignon.
"I really love and appreciate y'all for doing this" Nene said then took a sip of her drink.
"Awe don't thank us, it was Sydnee's idea" Sariah said and Nene smiled.
"We love you too, and forever will" Tori said.
"No really, I'm glad y'all gave me a friend group that I can rely on" Kia said then took a bite of her food.
