Many see sharks as the most dangerous predator in the water, but that's not it. They were just labeled as dangerous, indiscriminate killers that eat anything in sight. In fact, sharks are most often the victims. They're killed by the millions annually to supply demand for their fins, which are made into soup and eaten as a status symbol.

For most, they went into hiding. Far from human civilization. Within a cave, the sharks called home.

One native was a young boy with the features of his kin. But what separated him from the rest was that he had the body of a human. He was raised and trained him in their way of life.

Great White: You must keep moving to survive. Always go forward, never go back.

To live on instinct and instinct alone. Life in the sea remained vast and peaceful until the scent of humans destroyed it like a plague. Pollution, fishing nets, hunters, all claimed the waters as if it was theirs alone. Treating it and all those who inhabit like their black empty heart.

It was those very things, that the young shark began his hatred to all things man created.

Yellowtail: Have you guys heard?

Eel: What?

Yellowtail: Apparently a squid-human hybrid is planning to invade the surface.

Mackerel: Really?

Yellowtail: Yeah. She's going to punish them for polluting the water.

Macherel: You think that shark kid might do the same thing?

Eel: Who Shark Boy? Mmm... maybe. I mean the guy hates humans as much as the squid.

Shark Boy heard enough and swam towards the surface. Following the scent left behind by the squid.

Shark Boy's Thoughts: Squid hybrid, huh? Better check this one out myself.
