From the past two weeks, you and Doyoung were close. Ever since that day where he helped you study, things changed. He was being sweet again and yet, you love his nice and pleasing personality that he's now showing. You and the vampire are playing chess as you guys were at the dining table. It was your turn and yet you feel like you were about to lose. You only had the queen, the king and a bishop. You scanned all Doyoung's little army of soldiers and bishop surrounding your last three survivors. Sighing, you had no choice but to surrender the king. "Ah you lose!" The vampire tuck his tongue out and laugh. Instead of getting mad of him teasing you, you giggle at the sight of his gummy smile being present.
"Of course I'll lose, you've been playing this game ever since it's made!" You puffed your cheeks and playfully rolled your eyes. He's been bragging about playing chess ever since sixth century A.D all morning but you were quite happy about the story anyway.
"How about best two of out five?" He smiled, you were about to accept the rivalry but his phone rang, signaling someone is calling. Doyoung grab his phone on his pocket and look at the caller I.D, having his brows furrowed he lifelessly placed his phone on his ear. "What do you want Jaehyun?" He said, quite harsh.
Doyoung blink his eyes and stared at you for a moment. "As in right now?" He said and tilt his head. "Can you just tell dad that I'm busy?" He said, groaning the life out of him.
"I already report to work last week!" Doyoung whined and tap the table using his fingers.
"Hyung, you work schedule is monday to friday and yet you barely go here." you heard a loud baritone voice explaining. "Also you're the one who'll get the heirs—"
"But I don't want to rule the vampire realm.," Doyoung mumbled and frown. But his frown disappeared later on was replace with a frustrated hissed. "How about you reign the heirs? since you wanted it anyway.."
The vampire then made gestures. "Also you're dad's favorite after all, so how about you ask him that you'll get the throne rather than me, Jae?" Doyoung smirked and rolled his eyes.
