The Camping

Friday before the break...

[In the supermarket]

Rrrrriiinnnggg .... rŕrriiinnñgg

My friend Kao, what is it? I cant find the aisle for camping utensils...  says June

Its just in the middle left of aisle 17,  replied Kao exasperated..

I should have just switched with you getting the beers and hotdogs..  He mumbled..

Aahh.. there it is.. I am in aisle 24 the middle right side... no wonder I couldn't find it.. June chuckled..

The friends checked what they have to bring for the camping.. they will be in convoy of a van from June's farm which is good for the terrain they will stay at and Thada's motorcycle for possible errands along the way.

Thada, do we have cabins near the camp site for emergencies? enquired Pete

I checked with a local tourist group of the nearest clinics and hospitals and they gave me numbers to call. Sandee answered instead.

And I also have maps with landmarks that are easily accessible  Thada also replied.

This is a new place for us to visit and its better that we are familiar with where to go in case.

Why do you need to go this far for a 3 day camping?  Asked Sandee

Its better to be safe than sorry.. replied Pete

We can enjoy the hiking and camping without worries San.. Added Thada

They decided to stay at June's place since the van is there and Thada's  BMX motorbike is on standby. They checked their engine and gas.

They packed everything they need from food, camp and clothes..
Extra flashlights, signal torches and emergency kits are kept in their bags.

They also talked about signals to use to communicate in case one of them gets lost.. still requested by Pete

After doing that, they went to bed

[The next day]

Thada and June was preparing breakfast.. Sandee went to Kao's room to wake him up..

Kao.. Kao... its morning.. wake up..

Hmmnn.. its still early.. why are you here?

Hey c'mon .. She pulled his covers.. irritating Kao, making him pout..

Saaannn.. another 5 minutes okay?

Only 5 more minutes.. if you're still in bed.. its not my fault to what I do later... Sandee left with a glint of mischief

- if Kao opened his eyes, he would have seen it and just got up then..

After 10 minutes Sandee came back creeping to the bed with a pail of cold water.. only a third was filled but its enough to wake somebody

Seeing that Kao was still asleep.. she suddenly splashed the water to Kao's face

Whhoòosh!!!  

WHA whaa what!??  Kao sputtered.flailing his arms and legs then sitting up. nearly gulping a handful of water..

.. hearing Sandee's tinkly laughter... he faced where the sound was.. wiping the water off his face..

Sandeee!?!?!  Just you wait till am ready...huff... huff.. jumping off the bed he tried to chase Sandee to pour water on her too...
