Ayaan's POV : -
"Ring! Ring! Ring!"
Ooff !! This alarm. I tell you friends whoever has invented this alarm must be the most cruel person ever on this earth. Ugh!! Chain se sone bhi nahi deta !! Ab toh school bhi nahi hai.
Wait!
What!
OMG! School!
Aj toh mera first day hai new school mein. Ugh ab toh uthna hi padega.
Sighing I get up from my bed and then make my way to the bathroom and get ready for school. My new school, A. M. International School is where I am going to start from today. I make my way downstairs to see both my mom and dad at the table discussing something.
"Goodmorning !" I greeted them.
"Goodmorning beta." Mom and dad replied in unison.
"Come sit." Mom said.
Mom then prepared us our breakfast and then we sat at the table. That's when dad broke the comfortable silence.
"Beta so are you ready for your new school?" Dad asked.
"Yeah. Just hope everything goes well in the new school." I replied.
"Don't worry everything will be alright." Mom replied back.
I am starting standard eight today. Standard eight is considered as an important year because after this comes standard nine from where all the preparations for boards and our future starts.
We consider studies till standard eight as the foundation of our knowledge. Whatever we learn after that adds upto the knowledge which is helpful later on. Also just like every year this year also gives us opportunities to learn something new, new experiences which give us different lessons of life.
There is this another fact that my mom and dad found their soulmates in each other when they were in standard eight and has been together since then. *Sigh*
My parents think that I will also find her in class 8 only. When asked why they always say the same thing - GUT REACTION and me ? Well I scoff. Ridiculous. I don't mean any disrespect but that's the reaction when you don't even feel teensy weensy bit of attraction towards any girl you've come across and the girls were really pretty but I don't feel in that kind of way you know what I mean. I mean seriously boys in my age would give you a list of crushes but me - meh no thanks. My mom even stretched it a bit too far and asked if I was gay. I mean seriously. WTH!! The whole conversation was mortifying. Even Alzheimer's disease would never be able to remove the memory of this horrifying conservation.
My dad then breaks my thoughts by saying "Oh boy, look at him, he is already planning his marriage with the love of his life." He teases.
See I told you. They are hopeless. God bless me.
Rolling my eyes I say "Really dad? I have to say that I haven't seen or heard any dad in my life who teases their son about marriage at the age of fourteen."
Dad then winks at my mom and then says "What can I say I am the best. Am I not sweetpie?" And then looks at my mom with all those cheesy lovey dovey eyes.
"Okay! Okay! Geez cut it out you too I mean hello your son is here."
And at that they come out of whatever romance they were having with their eyes and then put on the stern face again but fail miserably.
I burst out laughing and mom turns bright red and even dad's ears and cheeks become slight pink.
Oh boy 39 and they still got it bad.
Finally after finishing breakfast and wishing them bye I head off to my new school.
As I enter the school I say "A. M. International School, I am coming."
Hello lovelies.
Hope you like the surprise.
Hehe.
Who would love to be in a relationship with Ayaan. Me for sure 🙋🙋. If only I am lucky. But I know I am the unofficial brand ambassador of #singlelife. Also Ayaan's parents are the best isn't it.
Okay okay I have again started blabbering. I need to see stop it.
Anyways, vote, comment and share.
