Pain

The more time flies by,
the more I come to love the pain
I call it motivation, inspiration
but there's a deeper part;
pain won't matter
when I believe
that it's not me doing it
when I believe
that it won't harm
the truth inside of me
that instead,
they are the ones
who are putting me
inside their helm
with the thoughts
they left behind.
It reaches deeper
and deeper,
and my soul
will anon be
on paper.
