Running.

Peter ran. He didn't know where to, he just knew he had to run.

He heard shouting behind him. He heard cries and yells. But they weren't sad. No, they were angry. Peter could just tell. He ran down the streets of New York, running, running, running,

He woke up.

Gasping for air, Peter looked around from where he was sleeping. A cold concrete floor in an overcrowded whiteness. It had been a week since he'd run off. He knew it would be horrible. He was right. But also wrong. He'd expected- no, he'd hoped for it to be so much worse.

Not for everyone else. Just for him. He didn't deserve all the good fortune he was given. He didn't deserve it because he was a burden. The masked people came round.

They did,... Something. Said it was a reward. It seemed so normal. Like a usual facility. The did it the old. to the people who looked inhuman. It was twisted and horrible, and Peter was fine. It happened to someone else right by him almost immediately. He was there for shelter, not to steal others opportunities. He shouldn't even be stealing the small space he took up. He had a job that covered for..., Things. He didn't know what. He just knew they were vital. Though he usually have most of that to those less fortunate. Well, a job might be pushing it. It just happened. It all seemed,.. odd. He didn't expect anything to happen when he gave others his "light orb" things.

But he really didn't think he'd have troubles.

It was just trouble breathing at first.
Then he was fainting and throwing up.

And then Tony found him.

And he just ran and he ran and he ran.

Because he was sure Tony was mad. He was sure that they were furious he had caused such a ruckus. He was so sure that he didn't realise were he was going. Didn't realize that he turned down a familiar alley and climbed up a familiar wall went over a familiar rooftop and fell in place upon a familiar bridge- oh right. That's why everything was vivid. Why he always have to others and why it was all do vivid.

He was dead.
