Somewhere at a gas station in Louisiana, Mark just finishes filling up the truck while Allyson jumps into the passenger side with some bottled waters, snacks, and two large coffees. She puts the coffees in the center console of the truck as Mark jumps into the driver's seat.

"Got you a coffee." Allyson says

"Thanks, honey," Mark says as he drives away and gets on the highway. He looks over at her, smirks, and says, "I'm glad you came with, Allyson."

"I wasn't going to let you drive to Miami all by yourself," Allyson says. "You hate driving long distances alone. Besides, we both should be there when Racheal is rescued."

"I'm an idiot, Allyson." Mark proclaims. "My whole life, I let society decide what I should believe in, instead of seeing the truth. I just hope Gabrielle can forgive me."

"Our daughter is a very forgiving woman. If you just open your heart to her, she'll know you mean it." Allyson says, smiling. "You know, you two are alike in a lot of ways."

Mark gets a strange look on his face, smirks, and asks, "How so?"

"You used to have a passion for life. She has that same passion." Allyson chuckles a bit, then says. "You both are stubborn, also."

"How's that?" Mark asks.

"Remember when she was around fifteen, and you found out she was writing blogs, and you made her stop, telling her that she would disappoint your great aunt Janice by not becoming an archaeologist like her."

Mark takes a breath, and with a sad look on his face, he says, "Yeah, I remember. Looking back now, I should've let her pursue her dreams instead of trying to live out mine. That was the first time I saw her devastated and hurt. I destroyed the one thing she loved in life."

"She ended up writing science articles for the high school newspaper!" Allyson says, smirking.

They both start laughing, and then Mark says, "I was so wrong, Allyson."

Allyson gets a shocked look on her face and proclaims, "Wow, this is a first! Mark Covington admits he was wrong!"

"Well, there's a first time for everything, I guess," Mark says.

"So, what did you think of Aphrodite?" Allyson slyly asks.

"Wow! For the Goddess of Love, she's fierce!" Mark says. "Hot as all get-up, but fierce! She told me she put us together!"

"I know," Allyson confesses. "We chat from time to time. Remember, she visited me a year ago."

"I remember," Mark says. "Aphrodite was so pissed at me that she threatened to send me to hades, whatever that meant!"

"Ooh!" Allyson says, wincing. "Even though Xena killed him, if he was still around, you don't want to face him!"

"How do you know this?" Mark asks.

"I've been reading about the gods and goddesses Gabrielle and Xena took on." Allyson proclaims. "They fought a lot of the Olympian gods and goddesses. Aphrodite survived because Gabrielle and she are best friends. Aphrodite was even in love with Gabrielle at one point."

"Gabrielle has that much of an effect on people?" Mark asks.

"Oh, yes, she does!" Allyson proclaims. "Our daughter can rope the moon with just her smile."

"How did I miss this?!?" Mark proclaims. "I was blown away by what Aphrodite showed me! Then when Great Aunt Janice showed up to verify everything, it was like the truth finally hit me! I felt ashamed that I acted the way I did. What happened?"
