ℝ𝕠𝕓𝕠𝕥𝕤 ℂ𝕒𝕟 𝕃𝕠𝕧𝕖 𝕋𝕠𝕠! (𝔸 ℙ𝕖𝕟𝕟𝕪 𝕩 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕣)

𝔸 𝕋𝕒𝕝𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕋𝕨𝕠 𝕁𝕒𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕤 (ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕥 𝟚)

Walking into the janitors/weapons closet, you weren't really surprised to see a large assortment of weapons stashed away in it. What caught your eye though, was a large axe that was strung up on a rack that was almost directly next to a large vat that was full of a glowing, green goo.
You ventured closer to take a look at the vat. Glancing over it, you could see it was hooked up into some sort of contraption that lead into the cafeteria. A loud 'clunk' pulled you from your thoughts. Looking over, you could see Kid struggling with a heavy chainsaw. You gave him a concerned look, a few thoughts coming to mind.
1. What if someone, like Penny or the principal, caught the two of you walking around the halls with a massive chainsaw during lunch when no one was allowed in the building?
2. Could Kid, a tall and stringy teen, even manage to carry that thing all the way up a set of stairs and all the way back to the janitor?
The second question was answered when Kid gave another heave and managed to cradle the chainsaw in both of his arms.
"You good?" Kid nodded at your question. He took a few confident steps towards the door before turning around and motioned with his head for you to follow him. You flashed one more concerned look before swiftly following after him.
"If you ever need a break, you can ask me, ok?" You said when you were around halfway back to the stairs. Kid nodded silently and continued.

"Hey, (Y/N), close your eyes and hold on to my shoulder, I don't want you to see Stevie... or what remains of him" Kid said as you were approaching the stairs. You did as he told and squeezed your eyes shut and placed your hand on his shoulder.

You cringed when you familiar iron scent of blood filled your nose. You coughed slightly.

"Hey--! Oh, it's you two. Yeah I guess I'll let you two by so I don't end up like him" You heard Charlie say. You could feel Kid move as if he were nodding his head. He moved forward tenderly, you guessed so he could better lead you up the stairs. That and, he was trying his hardest not to step on what remained of Stevie.

"Step to the left slightly, and lift up your foot slightly, we're going up the stairs" Kid instructed you. You nodded and did what he told you, albeit with a little hesitance since you couldn't see. It was when you reached the top of the stairs that Kid said you could open your eyes.

You breathed out and shook of the weird feelings you had gotten on the way up for some reason. You looked over to see Kid shaking under the weight of the chainsaw. You deadpanned him and held out your arms to signal that you would take over. Kid gave you a grateful look and gently loaded the chainsaw into your arms. It was heavy (what a shocker) and you stumbled a bit when Kid first placed it into your arms.

Looking around you could see Monty waiting angrily by the elevator further down the hall. You pointed this out to Kid, who told you to ignore him.

"Hey, Kid? I think I'm gonna sit this part out, I don't think I can really deal with this" Kid gave you a concerned look and nodded, showing he would be fine working on this by himself. You gave him a weak smile and handed him the chainsaw and started taking the long way out to the school yard.

---------- Time Skip ----------

You hummed contently, wondering how Kid was going with the mission. You honestly felt kinda guilty about leaving him, but it wasn't your fault that your so squeamish. You had also forgotten about the radio, that was until it beeped.

"Hey! (Y/N)! This is Kid" Kid's voice could be heard. You jumped slightly but picked up the radio.

"What is it, Kid?" you looked around, hoping no one could see or hear you.

"Things got messy! And Penny is coming towards me, quick! You think you could distract her? I'm in the cafeteria" You said you could, and you were pretty close to where the cafeteria so it wouldn't take long.

You tried your best to look inconspicuous as you jogged off in the direction of Kid and Penny. There was a bathroom nearby, so you could use that as an excuse, and it was right down the hall! Perfect!

You reached the bathroom door in no time, and you could see Penny about to open the door to the cafeteria. You called out to her, pretending to be surprised to see her here.

"Penny!" Your voice must've startled her as she jumped.

"(Y/N)! You're not supposed to be inside during lunch. I don't want to do this but I'm going to have to give you study hall" You gave her an awkward smile.

"Sorry Penny! I just needed to go to the bathroom real quick, and this is the closest one" You explained, pointing at the bathroom door. Penny looked shocked, then remorseful and then gave you a bashful one.

"Oh! Sorry about that, (Y/N)! That's fine" Penny blushed slightly and scratched the back of her head nervously.

"It's fine. Hey, can you wait for me? I was gonna spend lunch with Kid but he's busy" Penny's face brightened when you asked. she enthusiastically nodded her head and seemed to completely forget about going into the cafeteria and busting Kid red handed, literally.

When you 'finished' in the bathroom, Penny immediately latched on to you, wrapping you into one of her famous hugs. You chuckled and pried her hands from around your neck, but you grasped one of her hands. Penny blushed and laughed nervously.

"C'mon, lunch is about to end and we have science, and class is on the other side of the school" You said. Penny nodded and started tugging you along excitedly.

---------- Time Skip to End of The Day ----------

"Awww, you two sound so cute together" Kid teasing said when you told him what happened with you and Penny. You huffed.

"I could say the same thing about you and Felix. Aren't you always gushing about how cute he is" you retorted smoothly, now it was Kid's turn to be embarrassed. His face flushed a light red colour and murmured something that sounded like 'it's true, though' under his breath.

"Hey kid! Wait up!!" The greasy voice of the janitor came from nowhere. Kid cursed under his breath. Said janitor walked quickly out of the pair off front doors that the students had just walked out of to leave.

"Phew, almost missed ya" the janitor said to Kid, completely ignoring you.

"Please don't kill me" Kid said while starring at the janitor. The janitor barked out a dry laugh, as if Kid just told him the funniest joke ever.

"Kill ya?! I ain't gonna kill ya! Well... not today at least" you were about to say something when someone called out to you.

"HEY!! (Y/N)!! I SAVED YOU A SEAT ON THE BUS!!" Carla screeched. You looked to Kid and motion towards Carla with your head, Kid nodded and turned back to the janitor. You started running over to Carla and gave her a big grin. You, Kid and Carla lived on the same street, so you all took the same bus home.

"So... You and Penny, huh?"

This chapter is shorter than the first one, and most other chapters will probably be at this length. I'm having a lot of fun writing this, so I hope you are having a lot of fun reading this. I don't really have anything else to say...
