Okay. So sorry it's been 84 years since my last update. I'm not dead, I promise. I'm also changing the way I write in the middle of this chapter. I'm seriously too lazy to re-write it. It won't be in POVs anymore. Sorry if that's confusing. They way I've read things recently is different and it's actually confusing me now. So. Lmao sorry. I'm gonna try to update more. xx
Dean's POV
I woke up and Cas wasn't next to me. I sat up and saw him sitting on the ground with my laptop. "Good morning.", he said as he smiled and looked up at me. "G'morning.", I said with a raspy voice. "What ya doing?" I asked, trying to get the blurriness out of my eyes. He closed the laptop and stood up, he walked over to me and sat on my lap. "Nothing, just browsing." I put my hands on his thighs and smiled at him. "How you feelin'?" I asked. Referring to last night, because c'mon. That was good. He smiled, "Good. Really good. And you?", he asked. I put my hands on his side and looked him up and down. "Oh, I'm great." Cas smiled at me. "Now. About that GED. It's time you start studying." Cas said as he laid a hand on my chest. I rolled my eyes, "I just woke up, c'mon." I whined at him. "Don't you want to go to college soon though? You're going to need that." I looked at Cas and frowned, "Nah. I'm not the college type." I knew he was though. Was Cas already thinking of college? Was he going to leave me? Again? "Fine." I grumbled as I sat up, "Help me study then." Cas already had books set out. He planned this already. What the fuck. At least he was feeling better.
After studying for about an hour after I woke up, I was hungry. I laid on Cas' lap and looked up at him with pleading eyes. "Can we /please/ eat?" Cas obliged and we went downstairs to eat. Dean made eggs and bacon. Sammy walked in a little while after and saw Cas. He hadn't seen him in months. "Hey, Cas!" He exclaimed as he ran towards him and gave him a hug. He took a piece of Dean's bacon and ate it. "Hello, Sam." Cas said with a smile. He was actually happy to see Sammy. "Hey, get your own, short round." Dean said as he moved his plate away from Sam. Cas laughed at the two. He wished his brothers would have been normal with him like this. With that thought Cas remembered home. He frowned a bit and Dean noticed. "You okay?" He asked. Sam walked out with a glass of orange juice and another piece of bacon he managed to sneak off of dean's plate. Cas nodded, "Yeah, just don't want to go home. I have a feeling I know what will happen. Nothing good, for sure.". Dean looked at Cas and after a few moments he spoke up. "Don't then. Stay here with me. We can share my room. You'll be safer here.". Cas couldn't believe Dean actually said that. "Are you serious? Really? I.. I don't know.." As was very tentative. He didn't know if that would be acceptable. "I'll talk to my parents. I know my mom will be on board. Just. Think about it? You'd be happier here, Cas." Dean tried to persuade him. Cas smiled and kissed Dean. "I really love you. Y'know that?" Cas said against his lips. Dean grinned, "Yeah, I know."
After they ate, they studied a little more. Cas used Dean's computer again, he was looking colleges up. He didn't want Dean to know however. He still wasn't one hundred percent sure if he was going to apply to any or not. He was thinking about it. He didn't want to leave Dean behind. Not after just getting him back. Again. "Let's do something." Cas said as he closed Dean's laptop. "Like what?" Dean said as he plopped down on his bed. "The fair is in town. Let's go to that." Cas suggested. "The fair?" Dean said, repeating Cas. "Yeah, why not? It'll be fun. C'mon, get ready." Cas said as he started pulling out some of Dean's clothes that were too small for Dean himself. They both got ready and left.
When they arrived the first thing they did was go to the funnel cake station. Dean loved those. They got one and put extra powdered sugar on it. They found a nice bench to sit on and ate it. Cas broke a piece off and acted as if he was going to feed it to Dean. When he went to put it in his mouth, he smashed it in Dean's face instead. He got powdered sugar everywhere. Cas laughed and Dean attacked Cas in kisses, getting the sugar on him too. When they had the time, they were sickeningly cute. They cleaned themselves off and finished eating it. Cas stood up and intertwined their fingers as they walked to the game area. There was a huge teddy bear as one of the prizes that Cas had taken a liking to. "I like that one." Cas said, pointing to it. "Of course you do. Go big or go home." Dean said, laughing a bit. "I'll win it for you." He said as he kissed Cas. They walked over and Dean paid the worker. It was one of those 'shoot the moving target' games. Dean missed them the first two times and got it on the third. He smiled and the worker handed him a small bear. "What the hell is this? I want that one." Dean said as hit pointed to the big one. "Gotta work your way up, big boy." The man said. Dean gave him a weird look but paid him again. He kept going. Twenty three dollars and a lot of frustration later, he finally got the big one. He smiled with success on his face and gave it to Cas. Cas had been laughing at him the entire time. He kissed his cheek and said, "Ah yes. My hero.". They rode a few rides, one Dean almost threw up on. "Let's go on the Farris Wheel, Dean!" Cas said. "Oh, hell no. You know I don't like heights. Plus that last ride almost had me throwing that funnel cake up." He said. "Please, Dean?" Cas hugged him and gave him puppy dog eyes. Dean still wouldn't budge so he kissed him. "Please baby?" Cas tried one more time. "Fine." Dean sighed out. They went and got in line. As they sat down on it Dean said, "if we get stuck at the top of this, I'm blaming you." Cas smiled innocently, "I'm okay with that.". The ride started and Dean's hand went straight to Cas' thigh. Cas smiled, "it's alright." He intertwined their fingers and Cas looked out over the city when they were at the top. Dean, however, had his eyes clinched tight when they reached the top. Only opening them when he knew they weren't anymore. "Dean, look." Cas said when they were approaching the top again. Dean hesitantly opened his eyes and looked out. "Yeah. Uh-huh." He said before closing them again. Cas laughed at him and put Dean's arm around his shoulders. "Dean.. Look at me." Cas said. Dean did so. He opened his eyes and focussed on Cas. Cas moved up and kissed Dean. As they were kissing, the Farris Wheel stopped at the top. "Fucking shit." Dean muttered against Cas' lips. "Shh. Don't think about it." Cas said, trying to calm Dean down. He kissed Dean again, getting his mind off of it. When they finally got off, Dean eagerly stood and walked off with Cas. They went to the impala and drove home. "I had a good time today, babe." Cas said sometime in the ride home. "Me too." Dean said as he looked at Cas. He was still mesmerizing to Dean. They were so in love. That kind of love that's just inexpressible. The best kind of love.
They got home Cas went up to take a shower. While he did so, Dean talked to his parents about Cas moving in. His mom was on board, like Dean knew she would be. His dad took some talking to. "He'll have his own room. The guest room. Don't want you two in there alone all of the time." John said. Dean agreed and went up to his room, happy to tell Cas the news. When Cas walked in with a pair of Dean's sweat pants on, he tilted his head at the smile on Dean's face. "You can stay here. They agreed." Dean said. Cas smiled. It was somehow relieving that he could stay there. He nodded, "Okay.. I will then.." He went over and kissed Dean. "You'll have your own room though." Dean said in between kisses. "That's fine, Dean." He said as he kissed him again. Today was a pretty good day for him. For them both. They fell asleep together watching Star Trek. Perfect ending to a great day.
