Chapter 10: First test

'What tests manager nim is talking about?' I wonder to my self.

We pass by many rooms as we walk which I believe are dance practice rooms because I can see a lot of mirrors as I take a quick peek in each open doors.

"Hey yoomi, whatcha lookin'?" I look at the person in front me and I jump back because he's face is too close from mine.

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to suprised you." He said while rubbing the back of his neck looking in the front as we continue to walk.

"It's okay hyung.... I was just looking at the rooms. This floor has a lot of dance practice rooms, isn't it hyung?" I reply as I look at him.

" Yeah, well actually this floor is for trainees."

"Trainees? Oh is this the place where I will practice everyday?" I ask as I wait for his reply.

"Yes, but not too long" He said after the long silence and look at me. I look at him confused.

"Wha-"

"You'll join our dance practice soon. Your our maknae,aren't you?" He said flashing me his bright smile and patting my head.

"I guess so. Thanks Kris hyung." I thank him smiling sincerely at him. He coughs continously and adverted his gaze away from mine.

"Are you okay hyung?" I ask him and try to pat his back but he suddenly walk faster leaving me behind and said.

"I-Uhm.. just going to the bathroom."

'Geez Yoomi way to scare him like that' I sigh to myself looking at the ground. I continue to walk but then suddenly.

"Ouch! Why aren't you looking where you are going?" Someone yelled and Im still in the floor with my butt laying flatly in the ground.

"Joesonghabnida! Jinja

joesonghabnida" I said as I stand up and bow many times.

"Aishh... You should look where-" He said as I look to him.

"-you are going." He finishes.

"Joesonghabnida. I'm not looking in my way that's why I bump to you. Please forgive me." I said to him and bow 70°.

"I-.... Forget it. Just go." He reply.

"Thank-" before I could finish my sentence he put his earbuds on his ears and left without saying another word. I look at his back getting farther as I feel someone tap my shoulder.

"Hey yoomi, what are you looking?"

"Uhm... nothing Luhan hyung." I said as I face him.

"Shall we go?"

"Ne hyung."

We continue walking until we're already infront of a huge door which leads to who knows where.

"We are already here Yoon Mi. Wait here guys, I'll just accompany our maknae inside." Manager nim said.

"Ne hyung!" Suho hyung answer for all.

"Better behave. I will not be gone for long. Yoon Mi, are you ready for your test?"

"N-Ne manager nim."

"It's okay, don't be nervous." He said and give me a comforting tap on my back as he slowly push me inside the room and follows behind.

As I enter the room, I feel plenty pairs of eyes looking at me. I feel embarassed so I just look at my shoes. Manager nim let me sit in the chair at the back and whisper to me.
