The leaders of the Troll tribes were having breakfast together in Pop Village.
King Quincy said, "Poppy, your chefs truly are experts in the kitchen."
Poppy responded, "Oh, well, you know what they say; 'You don't know what you're missing...'"
A chef popped out from behind her, "'...if you aren't in the kitchen'."
The chef went back behind her.
Poppy noticed DJ wasn't with Trollex, "Hey, Trollex, where's DJ?"
Trollex answered, "That's actually how I'm here. She didn't have a lot on her schedule, so she offered to take my morning duties so I could have a break for a while."
Barb looked around and saw something on the ground.
She said, "Hey. What's that?"
It appeared to be some kind of ruby.
She asked the others, "What do you think I could get for this? A new jacket? A few new guitar picks?"
Prince D answered, "How about we worry about that after breakfast?"
Barb agreed, "Yeah, these pancakes are better than the oatmeal we usually eat back home."
Queen Essence said, "Well, these are wonderful. And it's nice to take a break from being a ruler for a while."
However, Trollex said, "Yeah, but only for a few minutes. I've got a packed day with duties as king today."
Barb snickered.
Trollex heard her, "And what is so funny?"
Barb said, "Nothing. But...what exactly are your duties today? Singing with friends?"
Trollex answered, "Yes."
"Dancing with friends?"
"Yes."
"DJing with friends?"
"I know you're being sarcastic, but yes! And a lot more than just doing things with friends. But, it's a lot harder than it sounds. Trust me. I don't get to just do what you do."
Barb was a bit insulted, "What's that supposed to mean?"
The others tried to cool things down.
Prince D said, "Ok, whoa. Back it up."
Trollex answered, "Oh, please. All I've ever seen you do is lounge around, play your guitar, and goof off."
Poppy said, "Now, Trollex, that's not very-"
Barb then said, "That's all you've ever seen me do. But, when you're not looking, I actually have a very exhausting day."
Queen Essence said, "Let's not say or do anything we might regret."
Trollex touched the ruby she was holding and said, "Yeah, right. But, rest assured, you couldn't swim a mile in my fins."
King Quincy said, "I'm sure you both have very important duties, but let's not-"
Barb replied, "No. You couldn't walk a mile in my hair."
Trollex asked, "Oh, yeah?"
Barb replied, "Yeah."
Just then, the ruby they were touching made a huge burst of light.
The two fighting leaders were pushed back.
Delta asked, "Oh, my stars! Are y'all alright?"
However, Barb said in Trollex's voice, "What just happened?"
The others were a little surprised.
Then, Trollex said in Barb's voice, "Did you see that light?"
Poppy asked, "Uh...are you two ok?"
They both said, "Yeah, why?"
They both then looked at each other with surprise.
They both shouted, "You look just like me!"
They both screamed in terror.
King Quincy then said, "Ok, calm down! I'm sure there must be some explanation!'
'Barb' said, "We switched bodies!"
'Trollex' said, "Stop talking! It's freaking me out!"
'Barb' said, "This is insane!"
'Trollex' said again, "Stop talking! It's freaking me out!"
'Barb' then said, "This feels so weird!"
'She' then tried to walk, but tripped, "Ugh! How do you get around with these?!"
'Trollex' also tried walking, but also tripped.
Prince D said, "This is so messed up. How did this happen?"
They all then looked at the ruby.
