What's Wattpad All About?

So I'll assume you're new to this site. Maybe you've been here a day, or even a month, and you're completely lost - what the hell does some of these stuff mean?! Well yea.

Just like when you're walking through a jungle, you'll need to know what it's capable of (killing you, for example); you may need to know what Wattpad is all about. I'm not an expert, but I know a thing or two.

1. You can read stories.

Whether it's by a world famous and actual published author, such as Paulo Coehlo and Margaret Atwood, or an ordinary teenager who is an incredibly amazing writer, you can find some really good stories on Wattpad.

There's tons of genres that are available. Romance, Werewolf, Vampire, Fan Fiction, Horror, Fantasy...the list goes on.

Check out whatever catches your fancy! Check the Discover section to see "what's hot" or "what's new" in your chosen genre. Ask [Wattpad] friends for recommendations (like books they enjoyed reading). Check out what people like to read. There's an endless world of books on this site, and it's waiting for you to discover it.

2. You can make friends

On my 'life' on Wattpad, I've met lots of people. And I can tell you one thing: they're never the same. Everyone's so unique here. You'll find so many different people, and quite a number are worth getting to know!

So, get out there and socialize. I've even heard some people have found love...;)

3. You can write

Thirdly and most importantly, you get to express yourself in words. Whether you're more of a poet or a ranger (like me!) or an aspiring author, Wattpad is the best platform for you to show yourself of.

Things you'll need:

- a love for your writing
- patience
- persistence
- faith in your work
- commitment

Have you got all those things? To be honest, that's not even the half of it. If you want to improve your writing, it's going to take a whole load of other stuff!
