Everyone in the church looks up to her. She was the most generous woman in the community. Go to her house, you will always leave fully satisfied. Anybody who called a Harambee never forgot to give her the VIP card because they always knew that she will never disappoint. The card will always come back with pregnant returns as they put it. She never disappoints indeed. That is MRS MALUMBO, the beautiful wife of the great businessman in the Blue ivy village.

The name MALUMBO is well talked about in this village you know. A beautiful woman, a blue ivy if you could compare. She is ever smartly dressed. The husband is obviously handsome, you know, complimentary couple. Exemplary. An envy of everyone in the village. Whenever you saw that blue land cruiser Prado around, it was like seeing rain after a long spell of dryness. The generosity of the Malumbos was beyond anyone's imagination I tell you... Just out of the world.

It is another beautiful Sunday morning. The sun is shinning on the faithful faithfuls who woke up early in the morning to come and thank God for the blessings of the week and even ask for more blessings for the new week. You know, God being merciful and generous as he is, always pouring rains of blessings for all without discrimination..

The young deacon is the one incharge of the service today. The mother's with wailing children find themselves seats behind so that they can run out when their children starts crying or as the elder deacon always says, " the devil decides to pass over the church to cause havoc that is his speciality." The men are countable as usual. In this church, men only come to church during family days, or Christmas days, you know, to welcome baby Jesus into our hearts and Easter when we are celebrating this awesome Messiah who literally died for our sins. These are the most important days that you see the men blessings the church with their presence.

The entry song is sang and the junior deacon enters, clapping his hands cheerfully even though the sound that comes out of his clapping is that of the Bible that he continuesly hit. The women are dancing like their is no tomorrow. You know that when we go to heaven, we are going to sing and dance all day long, just like the elder deacon always preach, so it's better we start practising here on earth... That's why the women in this church dance for the Lord.

When he reaches the pulpit, he greets the congregation and starts with the opening prayer.
" This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. I was glad when they said unto me. Let us go into the house of the Lord. Good morning church. Welcome to our service today. I am happy that you made it today.... Our sermons for today will be talking about the roles that God has given all of us..." As he continues with his sermon, he is interrupted with the usual interruption of every Sunday morning, the blue land cruiser Prado.

Mrs Malumbo alights from the noisy car and the driver drives away leaving only dust behind. She cut walks to the church. The shoes announcing her arrival. She waves to the women behind. Waves to anybody who looks at her. She walks up to the front of the church to her favourite blue chair. Nobody ever dares to sit on the blue chair because our dear Mrs Malumbo bought it specifically for her own use.

When she reaches the front, she removes an handkerchief and wipes the chair slowly and carefully, making sure she captures even the hidden sides. She doesn't forget to wave at the people sitting behind her. She even goes to the extent of shaking hands with the beautiful baby boy sitter behind her. She then takes her sit and smiles at the junior deacon who at this time was watching in awe the drama that was just unfolding before him.

Looking at the congregation, they were all looking at him. It is from there that he understood that what had just happened was a normal thing in the church. He hurriedly finished his sermon and then called the members for the offertory session. As usual, Mrs Malumbo stood up, walked Infront of the church and took the offertory basket. She then put in a one thousand note and then looked at the other faithfuls who understood that it was their turn to bring their thanks to the Lord. They never matched up to what Mrs Malumbo always gave but we are equal before God, the elder deacon's word. The most important point is to give with all your heart..
