The Cavalry's Here!

Kyoro and Todoroki were still running ahead as the others found ways to get past the zero-pointers.

"Hey, Hey! The first barrier's a piece of cake? Then what about the second?" Present Mic asked as Todoroki and Kyoro slid to a stop. "If you fall, you're out! If you don't wanna fall, then crawl! It's 'The Fall'!" He announced, the two over looking a massive pit with pillars spread out through it, wires attaching them. Other students began catching up so Kyoro started backing up, before running and jumping off. Todoroki also quickened his pace and froze the wires, using them as bridges.

"And now the leader of the pack is easily getting through first!" Present Mic said as Todoroki made it across before Kyoro. Kyoro's hand reached the end of the pit before he pulled himself up. 'Hiding my quirk is hard.' He thought as he panted before running again. He looked up and saw Bakugo in the air above him, blasting towards Todoroki. Kyoro kept running as he heard Present Mic shout again.

"And now, we've quickly arrived at the final barrier! The reality here is... that it's a minefield! It's set up so that you can tell where the mines are if you look carefully! So you have to exploit your eyes and legs! By the way, these landmines are for games, so they are not that powerful, but they're loud and flashy enough to make you wet your pants!" Present Mic informed. 'That's definitely from experience...' Kyoro thought as he made it to the minefield. Kyoro looked forward and saw Bakugo attempting attacks on Todoroki, Todoroki also retaliating.

Kyoro began running and jumping over the dark spots of the field to catch up as others ran after the three.

"And now, we've got someone new in the lead! Rejoice, mass media! It's the kind of development you guys love!" Present Mic commented. "Hey, hey, hey, the rest of the pack is also speeding up! However! Even as they push and pull at each other, can the two at the top remain in the lead?" Present Mic asked before a loud thunderous boom rung throughout the area. Bakugo and Todoroki stopped to look up giving Kyoro his opening to try and get past them. "That's a huge explosion in the back?! What's with that force?!" Present Mic asked again before the students saw Izuku zooming through the air on a metal plate. "Was it an accident, or did he do it on purpose? Class A's Izuku Midoriya is in hot pursuit with that blast! Actually, he's taken the lead!" Present Mic revealed making the crowd cheer. Bakugo began blasting after Izuku with Todoroki trailing under them, freezing the ground above the mines and sliding on the ice. Kyoro picked up his speed to catch up behind them. "The two formally in the lead have stopped trying to slow each other down and are chasing Izuku Midoriya! Now that they have a common enemy, they've stopped fighting! The fight's not over yet!" Present Mic shouted.

Izuku began losing speed in the air as Todoroki and Bakugo caught up, Kyoro right behind them. Bakugo and Todoroki caught up as Izuku was about to hit the ground, Kyoro pushing forward as well. Kyoro looked up and saw Izuku getting ready to slam the metal plate down onto the ground making his eyes widen. With quick thinking, Kyoro leapt forward and past the three before Izuku stepped on Bakugo and Todoroki's backs, and slammed the plate down. In an explosion, Izuku and Kyoro flew forward. Izuku rolled into a sprint while Kyoro flipped into one.

"Izuku Midoriya swiftly blocks those behind him! Would you believe it?! He cleared the minefield in an instant! But what's this, Kyoro Midoriya made it through with his quick thinking and Inhumane reaction time!" Present Mic yelled. Behind the two Todoroki and Bakugo dashed out of the smoke and toward them. "Eraser Head, your class is amazing! What're you teaching them?!" Present Mic asked. "I didn't do anything. They got each other fired up on their own." Aizawa answered.

"U.A. Sports Festival, first-year stage! Who could've predicted the developments at the beginning or this conclusion?" Present Mic asked as Izuku and Kyoro battled for first, both running their hardest. "Right now, the first person back in the stadium is that man..." Present Mic started before Kyoro and Izuku leapt through the tunnel. "THE TWO MIDORIYAS?!" Present Mic yelled as the crowd roared with excitement, the two cousins slamming into the ground. "Please wait while we gather the photo finish!" Present Mic announced as others began piling into the arena. Izuku stood up and helped up Kyoro before the two nodded at each other before fist bumping. Izuku looked around as the crowd cheered before his eyes landed on All Might clapping.
