The Phone Call

Rylies Pov:

"Hold on what if we get a burner phone and call him and negotiate with him and give him what he wants in return we don't die." Right as I said the Nathan walked in.

"Hold on why would you die ?" I tell him about the phone call and my plan to which he agrees to

"But I want no part in this plan I already dealt with this psycho once and I don't feel like dealing with him again."

*Ring Ring Ring*

"Oh, it's my phone but its a private number." Emmy had said

"Answer it and put it on speaker maybe it's him," I told her

Emmy: Hello who is this

Josh: Hey babe miss me

Emmy: no I most certainly did not

Josh: So hows my child

Emmy: what the hell do you mean your child

Josh: you know our daughter I think her name is Emmalee I always knew you would name her after your great-grandma

Emmy: you know damn well she ain't your kid

Josh: And you know damn well that while your husband was on a business trip a year after you had arrested me. I snuck in and screwed your ass

Emmy: Listen here just tell me what you want so you will leave me and my friends alone

Josh: you know what I want

Emmy: no I really don't

Josh: fine I'll tell you. kill your husband, marry me, and you and your friend's lives will be spared

Emmy: but I have to kill my husband

Josh: yup that's the deal

Emmy: and if I don't want to

Josh: then let the games begin

"Well, that was interesting" Cynthia had said I was shocked to hear that conversation. Emmy's face was as white as Casper. I haven't seen her this upset in 11 years when Nathan "died".

"So Emmalee isn't mine?" Nathan asked, confused.

"I don't know, I just pushed that memory to the back of my head. That's why you could open the door with your house key, I changed the locks, then we moved farther east. I just didn't want you to worry or know because I didn't know, henceforth why I never told anybody."

"Baby I'm not mad or worried at least there's still a possibility that she is mine."I just watched everything in front of me unfold and I wanted to cry on how cute it was. Poor Emmy though but at least they can still figure out how but now I have to build up a whole new plan.
