Weird short stories

The Ride

(A/N: you don't have to listen to the sound if you don't want to I think it gives more surrealism to it. Anywhooo~~~~~~ On with the story!!! (*^^*))

Have you ever thought of amusement parks as dangerous, especially at night? Like the little water boat rides that have little animations that play a big part of the story that is being told to the riders. Once the ride starts to rust and the ride has vary low maintenance, it starts to become.... somewhat creepy....well.........Let me tell you..... A few weeks ago I had a dream about a weird ride at an amusement park this is what it was about

It was in the crisp of summer, you could hear the crickets chirping in our surroundings , laughter of children and passerbys, and the splashes of water from the pond that was next to me and my group. It was let's say 6:30 in the afternoon, so we decided to do a few more rides before we made the hour long trip home. Me and two other people in my group went on this old water ride right behind us in the pond. I don't remember the name of the ride but the characteristic that stood out to me the most since it was at the beginning and the end of the ride was this old, rusted animatronic turtle. Why it stood out was that it was the only animatronic character that have a voice box and that never got maintenance since the company that made it went under a long time ago. It used to be very cute and had a script towards the end of the ride which said," Thank you for coming to dreamland!! Hope to see you next time!!" Uh... over the years its voice box started to sound almost ... Demonic..since it never had any work on it. Once we got to the ride, we went inside , the interior of the attraction looks like a candy house,a little kid's wonderland and a dentist's playground. After a bit of waiting, me and my friends got note cards that each had different riddles and problems on it, we were told that the answers from the cards would be important later. With a little more waiting, my friends were able to get on the ride. Now these cars for the ride were single seating so I had to wait for the next car to come in. Once the next car came I was able to go on the ride, once on we started to follow the tracks to a room in which had four tvs over four different doors. On each tv , we saw the questions that we got at the start of the ride, once we got our answer we had to type it on the tablet next to the door that had our question above it. If we got the answer correct we would be able to go through the door.If it wasn't correct we had to take the car that we arrived in and leave the ride. The type of problem that I got was a simple solution for the 'x' in the equation. All three of us were able to go through our doors to the rest of the attraction. When I went through my door I was brought to another room which had a sign that said,'enter the room next to you and select an object'. I looked around thinking it was part of the attraction, took a metal lollipop thinking it was just heavy plywood and piping. After taking the prop,I went to the next room to the rest of the attraction. Once I went through, I saw a tall, well-built figure standing over a limp body. As I looked a little closer at the figure I noticed they were wearing one of the park mascot costumes. The costume was the big, brown, hubby bever baker, Mr. Bev. he was just standing there looking at the body, after a few minutes he noticed that I was there, He turned around and looked at me in silence and just stood there... I didn't know how long we stood there but, he started to slowly walk towards me, as he did so I pushed my back against the door I just came though. When he was about a foot away from me I swung the metal lollipop that I had from earlier and hit him on his kneecaps and head then screamed at everyone in front of me, 'Scatter!!'. After that everyone started to run further into the attraction in an attempt to get away from our asalet and escape from this nightmare cage that we were put in. After running for about 30 minutes,everyone but our prasurers were at the exit. We were glad that we could finally leave this nightmare of a ride, once we figured out how to leave we all got in our boats and went through the water part of the ride.Once me and my friends got in our boat, we made our way to the end of the ride, when we got to the exit I heard a weird noise. I look up and the turtle animatronic was falling from its rusty post while saying with its demonic voice, 'Hope you enjoyed your last day! Welcome to your end! HAHAHAHAHAHA' then . . . . . I woke up. . .
