Spine stared down at the bot, oil still trickling from her lips, her face frozen with fear and pain. He felt a very powerful sad feeling staring at her eyes. Rabbit walked up and stared at the shut down bot. Hatchworth quickly left the room, not wanting to investigate.
"Spine...w-w-w-what do you think h-h-h-happened to her?" Rabbit asked, her voice soft.
"I...I don't know...something traumatic...but her voice seems so familiar..." Spine muttered, searching his memory for where he had heard it before.
"Spine, when her boiler calms down, will you help me turn her on? I feel like...it will be safer with you here..." Peter said quietly. Spine nodded and walked out of the room, heading straight for the Hall of Wires.

"Spine, can you come down here?" Peter's voice called through to Spine. When Spine had arrived to the lab, Glitch was in the same spot, clean of oil dripping from her face and...cleaner one could say. "I got a lot of the grime off of her, she had a lot of dirt and dust in her joints and gears." Peter remarked, wiping Glitch's hand. Spine stared at her face, finding it more interesting now that all of her little details were clear on her face. She had tiny hole framing her cheek vents and the black diamond shape she had over her left eye. Her right eye had what could be cat-eye makeup on a human. Her top lip was black rubber and her lower was painted silver and seemed to be chipping. She had hair that pinned into her head like a wig. It was long and black. Spine was pulled from his examination when Petes refilled her oil and water tanks, asking Spine to pull her into a sitting position. The moment Spine touched her, his boiler filled with bubbles. He ignored this reaction and held her steady while Petes turned her on. They could hear her fears slowly starting up. Once she was able to keep herself up, Spine let her go and took a step back. However, as soon as he let go, her gears stuttered to a stop. Her body slumped forward so Spine caught her and looked at Petes, who shrugged and flicked her switch off then back on. Her gears started up again, and once again when Spine let her go, they stopped.
"What is happening, Petes?" Spine question, lurching forward to catch her body before it slammed to the ground.
"I don't know, I didn't mess with anything." Petes mumbled, flicking the switch off and back on again. "Maybe hold onto her this time, just in case." He told Spine, who nodded. Glitch's gears rumbled and started to work faster. Pretty soon, she was lifting her head and opening her eyes. They looked around the room and took in her surroundings. Her eyes landed on Spine's, who let out a quiet gasp. He hadn't seen her eye until now. The left was a deep blue while the right was a light teal, such a huge contrast which left her looking unique and beautiful.
"Hel-l-llo The Sp-p-pine." She stuttered, smiling at him. He felt himself smiling back and her.
"Hello, Miss Glitch." He greeted her, stepping back. She put out her hand, slowly, unsure. He gladly took it and laid a short kiss on it.
"Well then," Petes cleared his throat. Spine noticed the tiny puffs of steam that came out of both of their cheek vents. "I guess that you are as old-fashioned as the other bots." He teased Glitch who smiled shyly. "Anyway, do you think you are able to function now?" Glitch thought about this question and slowly got off the table, Spine stepping forward and helping her. Once she was on the ground she took a couple steps and tested her movements.
"I a-a-am-m-m function-ion-ion-ning." She smiled at Petes who nodded.
"Alright, you're free to go. Spine, show her to her room, would ya?" Petes half asked half told Spine, turning towards the door.
"Of course. This way, Miss Glitch." He said, sweetly. Bowing to her and gesturing to the door.
