The Other World

𝓒𝓱.10 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓓𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓸𝔂𝓮𝓭 𝓥𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓪𝓰𝓮

          "How are we supposed to get back up there?" Mellie said as she looked up to the other side of the bridge. It was silent before we heard a cough. We turned around to look at Aaron. "Yes, Aaron?" Mellie asked. "I can use magic to get us up?" He suggested. Mellie hummed in thought. "Yeah, alright. I need to start collecting those stones again," Mellie said but whispered the last part to herself. "Alright, then hold still," Aaron said and put down Clarity and walked over to Mellie. Mellie stood still as he put his hand over her face. It was silent for a while before suddenly Mellie fell backward. We were all in a panic before Aaron caught her with ease. "What the fuck did you do?" Jay asked angrily. "Relax it's a binding spell. It's for if anyone is bounded to me that I can give them a magic power if they don't have it already. And it's not that demon contract crap. I can remove it if needed. Which is what I do all the time," He explained. Jay seemed to relax a little bit but still did not take his eyes off of him.

           Aaron didn't even seem to mind or even care as he looked down at Mellie who started to wake up. "Hmm, I forgot how the binding spell worked," She groaned as she held her head. "Alright, let's get this over with," She said standing up straight. Aaron just nodded and lifted up his hand. He put his palm facing the sky and put all of his fingers but his index finger down. "Up you go," He said as he lifted his hand up in the sky making Mellie go up as well. "Whoa." Mellie tried to get her balance back as she was lifted into the air. "Just relax, Mellie. Remember you did this a hundred times before," Aaron said trying to reassure her that everything was, okay. She just nodded and started to relax. And with that, she went up with ease. 

           And after a while, she made it to the top. "Alright, your guys turn," He said as he turned around to look at us. He walks over to Ava and puts his hand over her face like, he did with Mellie. He caught her as she fell to the floor and she woke up just the same but with only with the groan. He continued that with me and Clarity until he made it to, Jay. "Nope, you ain't touching me," He said backing away. "I'm not one to care but you have to. Unless you want to stay down here then you have to," Aaron said with his eyes staring into Jay's soul. Jay just sighed and let him. Aaron put his hand over Jay's face, but it was just covering his eyes just like the rest of us. We were all silent before Jay fainted but out of all of us Aaron didn't catch Jay, he just let him fall on the ground.

          He woke up with pain going throughout his whole body. "Alright, let's go," Aaron said not giving Jay a second glace or to even ask if he was okay. But coming from Aaron I wouldn't expect one from him. But anyway he turned around to look at us and gave us a smirk. He snapped his fingers and we all went up into the air. We all started to freak out but Aaron and Clarity. "Up we go," He said and we all started to float up further. Aaron looked like he was laying on his back with his hands behind his head. Relaxing... And Clarity sitting down and kicking her legs back and forth. But to say at least that we soon got the hang of it and started to have fun. Well, for me, Ava, and Clarity. Aaron was just relaxing, not saying a word, but Jay just... stood? Therewith his arms crossed. But we soon got to the top and was let down gently. Well, for us that is. Jay hit the ground hard. 

          "Ah, glad to see that you guys can join me. Now let's get a move on we don't want to waste any more time," Mellie said as she started to walk down the path. We soon followed right behind her in a comfortable since... well... it would be comfortable if Jay didn't stop glaring at Aaron. I don't know what's going on? Jay just met Aaron and he already started to hate him for no reason at all. But I would have to admit that Aaron does look suspicious. He sometimes rarely talks. I asked Mellie about that once and she just froze and said that it was a condition that he had, which lead him to not talk for a while. And I know that he always hides something. And there could be more to it than just those things. But Jay is also a suspicious one so I ain't taking his side on this either.
