The Other World

          "Are your parents okay?" I asked since I did not see anyone around nor did I hear anyone around. But I saw both of them look at the ground sadly. "Our mom died giving birth to Zach so our dad was the only one taking care of us. But he went to war and died on the battlefield," Elda explained sadly. "Oh, I'm sorry. But it's alright with you, you can come with us and join our team?" Mellie asked. Elda was silent for a second before she nodded her head. "Alright, then let's go we messed around to many times at this point. We might get yelled at by the boss for not finding a base in time," Mellie explained as she walked to the other side of the destroyed village. We all followed behind her in complete silence. Elda and Zach seemed to be uncomfortable in this silence as I was before. But I got used to it over time since I have been here and interacting with them. 

          "Hey, it's alright. Their not bad people so you will be fine," I reassured them. They both looked at me. "How so?" Elda asked. "Well, let's see here? Oh, Mellie! I only knew her for a while but she is like a mother or a big sister figure. She's nice and easy to talk to as well," I said. "What about Ava?" She asked. "Hmm? Ava is also very easy to talk to. She's also an architect which is really cool!" I said. "What about that little girl? She's really quite." I looked over where she was pointing even though I already knew that it was Clarity she was talking about. "Oh, Clarity she hmm... can't really talk. She's learning though. She's also learning how to write," I explained. 

          "Okay, then what about that boy named Jay?" I turned to look at him to see him moving away from Aaron. Since he was getting to close to him. "I actually don't know anything about him. We just met him." "So is he a bad guy?" I shook my head as a no. "Well, it can't be too sure but he did save me and Clarity from falling to our death. So I cause he is, okay." She just nodded. "Now what about the suspicious-looking one." I looked over at Aaron to see that he had his usual emotionless look on his face as he looked straight ahead. "Oh, that's Aaron he may look intimidating but he's really not. So you don't have to worry about him."

           "Is that all you know about him? Or did you meet him randomly like, you did with Jay?" She said as she looked at me confused. "No, I knew him ever since I woke up? But I actually don't know anything about him other than his personality, age, and birthday? But now lastly Starlight. He is a switch fairy." "What does that mean?" "It means that during the day he is nice, shy, and sweet. But during the night he is a different person. I won't say how he is different but he is." She just nodded her head. And we were again met with complete silence. 

           "Where should the base be anyway?" I heard Mellie ask. "Well, somewhere no one would think it would be. So now that I think about it a cave would be too obvious for a base to be at," Ava explained which both Mellie and Aaron nodded at. "So it has to be somewhere no one would find it? But what kind of place would that be?" Ava said as she looked around. I looked around as well before my eyes spotted an abandoned building. "Hey, what about there," I said pointing to the building. They turned there heads to where I saw pointing and say the building.

          "What a good idea, (Y/N). With how much forest is around no one would see it. And for it being abandoned no one thinks about there being a hidden base. Unless they think that is haunted than we just have to make it scary, and we just have to hind the door very well so no one can find it! It's a genius idea!" Ava said happily as she ran over to the abandoned building. "Umm...? What just happened?" I asked pointing over to Ava with a questionable look. "That's Ava for you. Always thinking of things," Mellie said and walking over to where Ava had run. Followed by Aaron, Clarity, and Starlight, me, and Jay, and lastly Elda and Zach. 

          But Jay was walking slow almost hesitant and Elda and Zach were doing the same. When we got up we found Ava looking around all excited. "We can make a secret entrance here and dig down to make the base! Oh, this is going to be exciting!" She said happily. "Alright, Ava let's get to work," Mellie said walking over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Ava nodded her head and reached into her tool belt she had wrapped around her waist. And she pulled out a small metal stick. I looked at her confused before it looked like she pushed a button and red came out of it.
