Poem 1

Tall and green,

Mighty and lean,

Nothing like a bean,

Nor like a machine,

Fact

Believe it or not, you can make wine out of palm trees!

The leaves are green

The trunk is brown

They sure are lean

And they sure do look down

Did you know that palm trees can grow up to 197 feet high?!
