One day, me and my grandpa went down to the lake. On our way down here he stopped by the convenience store on the corner. When he got back to the car, he was carrying 3 cherry pies. I looked at him, confused.

"I thought you said we were feeding ducks?" I asked, eyeing the pies in his hands.

"We are, I thought the ducks might want a little treat." He responded, a sly smile on his face.

5 minutes later we pulled up to the lake. Mallard ducks were swarming the shores as all the people threw bread at the desperate birds. About 3 feet from the rest of the crowd grandpa started to lay out the pies. He picked a few pieces of the crust off one of the pies and used them to lure the ducks over to us. Suddenly, dozens of ducks were swarming our feet, covered in the red cherry filling, seeming as though they were bleeding. They quacked maliciously and I looked up at Grandpa in horror. He smiled down at me with the terrifying grin spread across his face. I'll never forget the day the ducks ate pie.
