"Do not look at the moon."
The note read. She knew how to interpret what the words meant. But basic human impulsivity demanded her nerves to watch the moon. She could have resisted it quite easily, but her curiosity couldn't.
She stood up from the bed, her phone clenched to her side, as she walked up to the window. Don't do it. But she was too curious to listen to her subconsciousness.
"What could possibly go wrong?" She wondered as she looked at her phone screen which illuminated the dark room. The words appeared ahead of her eyes.
"Do not look at the moon."
The room was silent, only her soft breathing lurking through the air. What would go wrong if one looks at the moon in a peaceful night?
Nothing would go wrong. Maybe she might turn into a were wolf, but all those are in fiction.
She let her impulses guide her as she got hold of the thick curtains. Her eyes darted onto her phone again.
"Do not look at the moon."
She shook her head and dragged off the curtains to the side and stared at the moon. Her eyes started to glow a bright white as she felt herself losing the grip.
She felt like she was falling and that she is weightless. But she couldn't decipher what was happening though she wished to.
