Empire Japan,February 06, 1918 (8:47 a.m.)
Kageyama Pov-
The sun manages to shine through the crack between the long soft fabric of the reddish curtains hitting straight to my face. "agh shit what the hell" i winced covering myself with my hands, stupid sun waking me up so early in the morning.

I don't wanna wake up yet- why me? why do i have to be the next ruler of this stupid city that doesn't even listen to orders or what people want them to do and it isn't my fault at all just because i was strict with them they wouldn't listen if i was nice either way you gotta show them what's best for them not become their friend that's how stronger they get at things.

I stood up sitting on my bed griping on the sheets, "i fucking hate this" i groaned hitting my head over and over.

I was in my head for to long i didn't hear the little knocks against the hard wooden door until they got louder "Young Master Tobio!" a frantic voice yelled out from the other side, i recognized that small squeaky voice "what do you want".

I pushed over the heavy curtain to the side to have a view on the huge door, there was silence for a while knowing Miss Yachi she's having trouble forming words "what is it!" i yell feeling annoyed already "Your grandfather wants to see you! get ready please!" she yelled back and ran hearing her small footsteps fade away.

Fuck- great here comes the speech that he gives every morning to me. I get out of bed, looking forward seeing the red cloak hanging onto the wooden stand "the stupid cloak wearing it everyday is exhausting" i sigh in defeat grabbing it and throwing it over my shoulders clipping it onto my shoulder pads, adjusting my button up shirt and the buttons on my wrist. Buckling up my belt around my waist "There" i happily said finishing, Now i need to leave right about now before he sends her again, "oh shit i almost forgot" my dumbass brain is shit almost forgot the most important piece to this dumb outfit.

I grab my crown carefully off the wooden shelf and quickly put it on. Laughter was heard as i was turning the door knob "Yu and tanaka stop laughing before i shut you myself" i yell closing the door earning them to shut it and stand on each side of both doors trying not to let it out "sorry master kageyama" they both said, "your lucky i like both of you or else i would have your heads cut off" i said smirking.

Sending chills to them feeling relief after- it's true they've been there since i turned 12 they were in training outside the empire but i would watch them work hard for their family needs.

That's why i liked them, they're hard workers they know not to quit on me "good luck" i heard tanaka say before i turned the corner, wait what does he mean 'good luck' i started to get nervous.

I walked firmly on the black long carpet down the luminous hallway with dark red robes hanging from each side of the windows- with eyes on me from the guards that were lined up on the sides, every step i took i got more nervous tanaka never says that to me every morning they both laugh at how bad i was at being the prince- they made jokes on how i messed up on dressing,acting, and words every morning, annoying brats i thought but that's who they're.

I walk down the stairs trying not to trip over my cloak with a stern face, what will grandfather do? will he finally straighten up my act? will he punish me with his wise words like he did that last time? will he have enough? I kept asking myself so many questions making myself more nervous "Master your going the wrong way" Wait i looked over seeing i was going the opposite way "are you okay" i know that boring voice i turn around seeing the tall figure stand there right in front of me "yeah i'm fine just deep in thought Tsukishima" I said walking the right way "i'm almost done with your outfit so it would be more comfortable for you Master" He said to me "good this is why i have you as my stylist".

I smile away from his view still walking away- he was always good at putting things together matching anything that gets thrown at him it better be good than what i'm wearing right now.

I finally get to the front of the throne where my grandfather was speaking to Leader Ukai the one in charge of the guards/knights of the empire "Grandfather you wanted to see me so early why is that?" i asked standing there and he smiled my eyes widen huh? he never smiles at me like that either he's gonna beat my ass or has good news "took you long enough to get here Tobio" he said with a little stern "sorry got lost on the way" i looked down- shit what's happening "look up and stand still that's not how a prince should stand you know that" i did as he said and looked right at him.

"better... me and sir ukai were just discussing a personal guard for you" he said still staring to see my reaction- what the fuck?! i don't need some guy following me around, i certainly don't need protection! "i don't need anyone by my side like a dog" i said furrowing my eyebrows at him "well we gotta do something about the way you see things and the words you use, so he won't just protect you he'll simply teach you, kageyama" he said with a serious tone now.

I gritted my teeth in anger and frustration mixed i didn't want anyone to do either of those things- i was okay on my own "but-" "not butts now follow Ukai he will be introducing the two of you and you'll have to deal with it one way or another" he glared, i backed up shocked at him.

I released my curled up hand to settle down and looked down "is he at least my age?" i said not wanting it to be older and be bossed around by some wise guy "same age as you for you to relate more and to see eye to eye" he said i was relieved but hesitate still knowing the fact some kid is going to still tell me what not to do.

"Alright" i said defeated, Ukai walked passed me "follow me" i did what he told and looked back one more time seeing the smirk on his face, why is he smiling like that it's not a huge deal but it was in the end, it was a huge deal.

We walked over at the camp full of them all around practicing and a few were playing that one game we saw King oikawa play at his empire called volley ball that everyone now loves "Takeda bring the boy" he yelled out on the field to a guy with glasses "also" ukai turned to me "he can be clumsy and loud" he admitted, what? so he's annoying?! god could this get any worse? "oh great" i groaned and he only chuckled "he's from the peasant side of the city the lower class but he's good at training and especially the game volleyball, he's always got a good spirit with him even when he fails at things he never gives up so i picked him, it took a long of convincing though" he explained- i already knew why they convinced him because of me it was me he had to deal with and i'm sure he wasn't happy hearing he had to be the one to be around me at all times.

"i understand" is all i could say before he could say any more.

We waited a little longer before what i could tell was takeda was pulling onto a orange haired shorty "don't tell me-" "yep that's him" ukai said scratching the back of his neck getting nervous, i don't like this guy already he was already causing trouble for them "is it really today?!" the carrot top yelled "yes it is sorry i didn't tell you sooner" takeda said dragging him towards us "ugh!" he groaned giving up on fighting.

I didn't believe it he had choose this idiot and not all the other strong men that were looking like the same age as me "sorry it took long he made it difficult" takeda bowed apologizing "it's alright" Ukai smiled "get up it's disrespectful towards the prince Shoyo" Ukai ordered, i stood there still not believing it- Shoyo then got up quickly and bowed "Nice to meet you Prince tobio kageyama, i'm Shoyo Hinata!" he said enthusiastically, "so this shorty is gonna teach me and boss me around" i said annoyed and looked at Sir ukai and Takeda. Hinita quickly spoke before they could "Im not that short! I'll show you some manners alright!" he angrily said and i didn't even flinch one bit at him "whatever..." i said and lowered myself at his level "dumbass" i whispered lastly, he gritted his teeth and looked away.

"Before you go, Your grandfather wants you to take him in to discuss some things" Ukai mentioned, I nodded at his response and walked away towards the entrance "wait up!" Hinita ran right next to me.

"at least try to be nice to me, i don't like this either as well but let's just cooperate" he said clearly annoyed at me already, why am i still nervous- this feeling isn't going away "yeah fine" i said, if i just cooperate it'll end sooner and i won't have to see him again and i'll become king. This will be easy to deal i just have to cooperate with him...
