Kageyama Pov-
Me and Hinita had finished packing up the presents and some food daichi and suga made for the orphans we were gonna visit "i don't know how to handle horses" Tanaka complained "i'll help you out buddy!" Yu excitedly got on the seat in front of the carriage and patted the side for tanaka could sit "aghh!" tanaka yelled and sat by Yu frustrated and nervous "don't worry i got it!" Nishinoya said with a thumbs up.

i got in followed by Hinita "i swear these bastards are gonna kill us" I said and sat down, Hinita didn't sit across from me this time- he sat right next to me "not sitting across from me anymore?" i said hoping to see a good reaction from him and i did he blushed and switched over "i didn't realize sorry" he apologized.. hm wait why do i feel sad? just because he switched over? ugh i gotta stop "it's fine" i shrugged i'm a real idiot...

"Hiyaaa!" Yu said slapping the horse with the lasso and causing it to go fast at first then slowly going steady pace "ehh maybe not go hard on them Nishinoya" Tanaka asked grabbing onto anything he can "oh yeah sorry i guess i don't know my own strength" a flushed embrassed Yu said.

I looked over at Hinita who hit his head "are u alright?" i asked rubbing his head and sitting next to him "ugh yes just hurts it'll go away" he said looking up at me i didn't notice what i was doing the only thing i was paying attention was him and if he was okay "okay good" i said gently rubbing his head "wow your doing good and we've only been doing this for two days so far" he mentioned and i understood what he said and blushed removing my hands off of him "didn't know i could do that in such a short time" i admitted but i knew i had some scars that needed to be healed until after the spring festival at least.

We finally got to the orphanage finally getting off the middle class walked by and started looking at me and hinita "who's the orange kid?" one said "he's from the lower class he's just sucking up to the prince" a girl said, i grit my teeth and formed my hands into fists "it's forbidden to like the same sex as you and disgusting" others said "well tbh i really don't mind and a lot of people disagree" one said and many agreed "It's illegal and i'm glad it is" one argued...

tanaka and nishinoya put on their scary faces and stared them down and i walked out on them and hinita tried stoping me "why can't y'all just shut the hell up and keep working, i can make your life go to hell in an instant" i said glaring and hinita pushing me away "ahaha he's just kidding" he said "what he said" nishinoya said and tanaka flipping them off.

Disgusting how they just say things just because they're in middle class, "u idiot u can't say things like that ugh" hinita said sounding exhausted and i didn't care but i got to defensive i noticed but tried not to pay attention to much to it.

We got presents and food out and set them on the table for the kids to see and we all greeted ourselves and talked to them, especially tanaka and nishinoya they both are older than me but acted like 5 years olds so they belonged here, they played hide and seek with some of them-

I tried talking to them but all were asking to many questions i looked over at hinita who looked at me at the same time we quickly looked away red in our faces one of the older kids around 13 noticed and pushed me towards him and we both bumped into each other "oh sorry" i said quickly, hinita laughed "it's fine tobio" he said sincerely, maybe i'm the clumsy one "why do you have to always apologize du-" "Don't you dare say it!" he furrowed his eyebrows at me everyone laughed at his sudden anger.

After a long day with the kids there they all bowed and said thank you "y-your welcome" i said walking out quickly but a kid went in front of me with same cloak as me and crown "hehe i look like you!" he said cheerly he had black hair but brown eyes- i laughed and everyone turned shocked with widen eyes "how cute" i said i took off a badge that shaped like a crow and gave it him "there you go" i smiled and stood up the boy ran and screamed out yay- what a cute little boy i thought.

We finally came back to the empire all tired out and every one went to their rooms accept for me i was called to the throne, why so suddenly i'm tired and it's what? 7:35 p.m. ugh all this nice act is got me all worked up-

what does the old man want? i hope i didn't do anything wrong, i don't think did anything bad.. was it because i called tanaka and nishinoya dumbasses oh shit.

I saw my grandfather sitting there spacing out i see "you wanted to see me" i asked "oh yes indeed" he said simply "i heard rumors in the city and now in my own empire about hinita and you" he said cautiously wait what?! me and him uh- huh? "people are questioning your sexuality tobio saying if you're interested in the lower class boy" he said asking me wanting to know too.

i can only lie to you grandfather because i as well want to know "no never and i'm straight" i said knowing i'm lying to myself "oh good i have nothing against it but i have 267 girls waiting tomorrow for you to pick to be your lovely queen and if you did you'd have to pick a queen because it's illegal and it's to late for me to change it" he said in honest, i wonder if anyone else were against it or so..

i spaced on it and he noticed "nobody was against it either too only a few people" he said making me relieved "just from now on watch what your doing" he said and i nodded in response and left.

i walked down the hall and heard noises coming from tsukishimas room and curiosity took the best of me and i put my ear against the door and i couldn't believe what i heard "k-kei nghh g-go sl-low" the pleasured voice said it was yamaguchis voice "o-k sh keep it d—own" tsukishima said stuttering i covered my mouth shocked at what i heard and tip toed out of there, didn't grandfather say it was against to have relationships like that? i didn't hate it or anything what i heard but why didn't i stop it? i thought of it over and over until i got in my room.

"today was fun kageyama" tanaka said and nishinoya agreed "mhhm" i said before heading inside "what's with that asshole?" tanaka asked Yu "i- i have no idea" he answered back but they both shrugged and made jokes all night until their shift was over.

I was still up hearing those stupid jokes and thinking about everything i've been noticing which is pissing me off but decided to sleep on it and hopefully the next day it would get better- but i was wrong..
