Lay my troubles to rest
Blow the smoke through my cigarette
City lights looking fine
And I know this is my time now

Her bright smile lit up the rather dark art room. She was the new art teacher for Sunny Gates High. Students rolled their eyes and scoffed and the petite teacher that stood before them. Her Dark brown wavy hair had streaks of dyed Blue hair. It rested at shoulder length and curled at the tips. Her eyes were a milky chocolate brown and were glazed with sprinkles of gold. She wore jeans with Patches in them, matched with a black shirt with specks of paint littered across it. She wore a used apron with pins at the top and Combat boots with specks of paint as well. She opened the curtains and let the rays of sunshine cast through the worn out classroom. She let the annoyed teens get accustomed to the new found light and took a breath in. She roamed around the room looking for something. The teens turned their heads and followed the small lady as she looked through the cabinets filled with unused art supplies. After 5 more minutes of looking through the room she sighed and sat up on the desk, Moving the papers that were previously there.

"Good morning!" She said in a rather cheerful way. The kids groaned in response and she gave them a look. "Good morning to you as well. I'm going to be your new art teacher for the rest of the year. I hope we'll get along." she jumps up from the desk and turns around. "I have to take a role but after that we'll get on with this.

She sits down in the rather large chair and props her feet up on the wooden desk. She flips through the pages and proceeds to call out the beautiful names listed.

"Alright........Now i want everyone to stand up. I want to get to know you all some more." They groaned some more but stood up regardless. She smiled and a couple of the kids slightly smiled back. "If this thing applies to you then sit down. Alright?" Some of the teens nodded. "Alrighty then! Sit down if you don't like to do art." None of the kids sat down, most likely because it's the easiest class. "Good! I hope you all keep to that. Sit down if you hate the uniform." Some kids did sit down. "Ah, well i could see why." She giggles. "Sit down if you don't have a sketchbook." Most of the kids sat down but few remained. "Alright then, Sit down if you're not going to be brave enough to show me them." her lips curled up at the sides and and only one teen remained. He had Shoulder length hair, and wore round glasses with a gold trim. His eyes fell to the floor and he stood there awkwardly.

"That's amazing! To make you feel less scared I'm going to show mine first. Then if you're still feeling brave enough, I'll show some of the drawings you picked. Sounds good?" She smiled at him and he quickly nodded his head, sinking down into his chair. She opened the worn out bag that was slumped against the rough walls. She picked up a generic Sketchbook and placed it under the projector. She turned it on and set the thing up. She flipped through the book and landed on a drawing she did for an art showcase not too long ago.

It was a flower field filled with different types of flowers all unique yet so similar. It had a warm essence and aura to the landscape and was admired by the teenagers that sat in the room. She flipped to a different page to a lady's face. Then finally to one of a popular video game character that sparked interest in all of the students.

"Your turn." She pulled him up to the front and placed his delicate book under the projector. He flipped to a page of beautiful flowers all aligned with such dedication. After letting them see that one he flipped to his own landscape similar yet different to the young lady's. For his final one it was of a child's room colored. It was bright and a pastel purple. It was very well drawn, and had things any child could imagen. The purple worked its way to every little design, Gradually getting darker as the shadows casted through the bedroom.
