4:30PM Sunday
Last day of summer. I hate this. No more sleeping late and no more sleeping in. No more hanging out everyday with friends and no more time to get bullshit grades since i'm going to be in 10th grade tomorrow. My name is Jane Higgins and welcome to my life.

6:00AM Monday
*BEEP BEEP*
Ugh. Goodmoring, i guess? I turned off my alarm and got out of bed. I went to the bathroom and had a quick shower. I didn't like taking showers in the morning, some of my friends would shower the night before school so they dont need to when they wake up. Just wash their face and put on some clothes. i tried that once, it didnt turn out well. I smelt like drool and my breath stank like fish. Nobody dared go near me that day so i will never ever miss a shower in the morning.
I got out of the shower and went back to my room. I checked the time 6:30. I had 10 minutes to get into clothes. I picked out a purple sweatshirt and some blue denim pants to go with black vans. I live in England and it is getting colder each day since it is nearing winter. I said bye to my mom and took my bag then opened the door to the cold but nice air.
I walked to school it was only 10 minutes away and i loved to take walks so it wasn't really a bother for me.
I arrived there round 7:30 because I wanted to get some food at 7 eleven. I was super hungry.
Brighton High School. It was a new school but 2 of my bestest friends from middle school are going to be here for high school so its not so bad. I waited round for my 2 bestfriends Malissa and Phoebe to come. Malissa and Zack were just the best. We’ve been bestfriends since kindergarten when we pretended to be famous chefs while hitting play-dough at those pink ignorant little girly girls in the corner sharing their barbie girls. All of the students gathered in outside just waiting to go inside the school because we weren’t allowed until it was time.
By 7:50 Malissa and Zack came around and we all greeted each other with hugs and how was your summer?
Around 8:00 the doors opened and we all went in. We had science first. What a bore and its first thing in the morning then after that math. The Monday schedule was shit but Monday was shit itself so might as well get on with it.
8:20 Science Class
Oh hot damn this is my jam. Agh I’m bored as hell. I got separated from Malissa and Zack because we were “noisy”. What the fuck we were just sitting whispering at each other! Mr. Jack was always picking on me to answer the question and he’s such a royal pain in the ass. Malissa, Zack and I will call him Mr.Jackass for the rest of the year. Another 10 minutes and I’m out of this shit class. Can’t wait until school ends to be honest.
4:00PM
Finally school ends! Going back home and having a big fat ass pizza! Adiosss bitchachos.
4:30PM
While I was walking back home some bitches from the school poured slurpees all over me! They were telling me how I wore such blunt clothes and I need to shape up because I looked fat and hideous that no guy would date me. To top off my day I had 3 girls pour slurpee on me and made me feel like a piece of shit lying in the sidewalk. Yay for the first day of school.
They left me damp and wet after like 5 minutes and I turned right to go back home. I was shivering and I swear all the anger was just spread across my face.
Some guy from school saw me and he ran to me. His name was I think Tom, yes, Tom Willis. He had brown hair and blue eyes and he had a cute smile, he wasn’t bad looking at all actually. He invited me to his pool party at the summer and woah he has a good looking body like man I could use some of that but also he’s actually pretty nice too!
He used to go to my middle school but we never really talked just that time in the summer.
“Are you okay Jane?”
“I’m fine, thanks.”
“What happened Jane?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
“You seem cold! Here.”
He gave me his warm cozy jacket. He was actually pretty sweet to give me his coat and he walked me home. We talked and we didn’t have any awkward moments! It was actually the only good thing that happened to me today except that I saw my 2 best friends today. I mean I don’t like him but I think he’s pretty nice and sweet!
