It was Leona's first date ever and Pascal had chosen a classy restaurant.
Leona's POV
I was nervous but so happy. I was glad that I finally got the chance to know him better.
He poured me a drink and I stole a glance at him from my long lashes. He was so gorgeous. Nothing much, he just had a pair of jeans and a sweater on. He stopped what he was doing and sat the bottle down on the table.
"Don't be shy around me, I'm your boyfriend "
I couldn't stop the blush that ran down my cheeks. "Yeah, right ".
"I was such a fool to not have noticed your beauty from the start".
I blushed again and took the glass of champagne. I realized my hands were shaking and the glass dropped to the floor in no time. I felt stupid as everyone turned to look at us.
"Its alright ", he said to me and I nodded.
A waitress came to clean up the mess and I felt relieved.
"Are you okay? "He asked.
"Sure...... Why? "
"You're shaking"
"Oh". Only then did I realize that I was indeed shaking.
"Are you feeling uncomfortable? "
"No. Just nervous ", I looked at him.
"Your first date right? "
"Yeah"
"You wanna leave here then? "
         His beeping phone interrupted us.
"I gotta pick this call outside, here's noisy". He excused himself.
"Right"
   I took my phone from my purse and a message from Marie appeared on the screen.
How did it go?
Broke something as usual, I replied.
What's the restaurant's name?
Best grills
Wow! That's not far from here. My house is just at the back.
Aiit.
I looked outside through the transparent glass and watched the snow fall in small flakes. I love to play in the snow, bit I'm all grown now. My eyes became drawn to some people outside. They were kissing and they looked familiar. Matilda and.............
"Pascal", tears welled up in my eyes. So this was what all these was all about. He brought me here to watch them lock lips? I grabbed my purse and walked out of the restaurant.
I walked on with tears rolling down my cheeks. It was really cold outside but I didn't care.
I walked to Marie's house and pressed the doorbell.
"Coming"
I cried the more. Marie would say I told you so.
The door opened and it was Marie's mom. I wiped my tears quickly but she noticed anyway.
"Everything ok? "
"Its nothing", I replied with a trembling voice. "Is Marie in? "
"Sure, come in"
I walked past her and headed for Marie's room. She stood up from her bed when I walled in.
"Lea, what's..................... "
I broke into fresh sobs and Marie took me to the bed.
"What happened? "
"That bastard! He cheated on me. This is just the second week of our relationship and he kissed Matilda"
"Bitch! "
Marie walked into her bathroom and came back with some tissue papers. She handed them to me and I smiled, "thanks"
"You can stay here if you want"
"Thanks so much"
"Will you go to school tomorrow? "
"No! "
"The day after? "
"No! "
"And the day after? "
"I don't think so"
"Come off it, Lea. You can't run away forever "
"I'm not...... Ok! Fine"
"Your clothes? "
"I don't wanna go back there"
"Ok! We'll go to the mall tomorrow after school. "
"Alright"

Leona saw Arthur first as she walked together with Marie. "Hey, Arthur"
Arthur's POV
I saw Marie and Lea together. I left Pascal  and walled towards them.
"Bullock", I heard Leona mutter and wondered if she was talking to me.
J kissed Marie on the cheek when I got to where they were.
"Hey, Lea"
Leona looked from me to Marie then back.
"Something's fishy"
"Its just a greeting"I said defiantly.
"And when did you guys start this mode of greeting, huh? "
Marie blushed.
"What's up with you and Pascal? "I chose to ask instead.
Her face changed to a frowning one, "I don't wanna talk about it"
"Alright"
"We're heading to the mall, wanna come? "
I looked at Marie, "sure"
Leona smiled. "Soon, I'll find out what's going on"
We entered Marie's car and she sat in the driver's seat.
"Hand me the keys ", I said from the back seat.
"C'mon", Marie whined.
"Not this time. Remember the last time you drove? "
"Not again", Marie sighed.
"Please don't get us all killed".
"Alright ", she handed the keys to me and joined Leona at the back.
"Can someone tell me what all these is about? "
"Nothing". Marie and I said in unison.

Leona's POV
I tried a black gown on and looked at the mirror to see how it was.
"Arthur? "
"Yeah? "
"Can you help me with my zip? "
"At your service ma'am"
I giggled. Arthur was an interesting person. I smiled to myself. I looked into the mirror again and my smile froze. I turned back suddenly and he wasn't there.
"So I'm beginning to see things ", I sighed. I thought I had seen Pascal but I guess I was hallucinating.
Marie came up with a dress.
"Hey, this would look nice on you"
"Wow! I'll take it".
Arthur sighed, "just take all the dresses in the mall "
"You're forgetting something", Marie said to him.
"What? "
"We're girls", Marie and I said in unison.
"Alright ", he stood up. "Enjoy your girly talks "he wanted to go out, but we both pushed him back to the chair and dumped all the shopping bags on him. We giggled and gave each other  a high five.
Arthur stood up and carried all the bags containing the clothes we bought. "Are you doing this to me because you're girls? "

Leona's POV
I drove the car this time with Arthur and Marie in the back seat. Suddenly, a plan came to my head.
"That's an oncoming vehicle, Lea"Marie said.
"I'm getting us killed unless someone tells me what's up with you two"
"She's joking", Arthur laughed.
I accelerated and Arthur screamed. I hate being taken for granted.
"You think this is a joke? ", I asked them.
I guess they were scared out of their wits because Marie spilled the beans first.
"Fine! We're dating ".
