Savior Shu Kurenai/Free De La Hoya

Wind was blowing harshly on Free's face when he made his way to the forest. Other bladers had already gone inside the dorms but clawing feeling that something was wrong kept Free going through the storm. Valt Aoi the freshly crowned Beyblading champion has been nearly hysterical since he could not find their guest Shu Kurenai anywhere in the building. Despite of Kristina's worries and claims not to go outside Free had slipped out and now he was nearly drowning under the cold rain.

   He stopped at the old Beyblade stadium where he liked to train. It held many memories to Free. - Hmm.. not here either. I wonder where Kurenai had gone. The forest was calm all animals where hiding from the storm. Only one was brave enough to challenge the storm... Free's loyal animal friend... the deer. Free tilted his head towards left feeling suddenly warm inside. He wasn't alone in the nearly impossible searching. - Hey there buddy. Deer huffed and tilted his head too like signalling that he was understanding Free. - So you don't care either it is raining. The deer blinked and slowly turned around. Slowly the deer walked deeper of the forest. Cautiously Free followed trying to keep his eyes open in the rainstorm. Eyes stinging he pushed the fallen twigs out of the way. Maybe Shu was close and the deer sensed him. He got more determined and tried to restrain his want to jog since he didn't want to scare the deer away.

   His heart nearly jumped out of his chest when he finally noticed a slumped figure against fallen log. Taking a closer look Free noticed how thin and frail the Spryzen blader was. It was unnerving to Free. - Damn it, Shu. Have you been starving yourself? That must be the reason why you fainted so suddenly. Hold on I carry you back. The albino tried to protest but it went to silent ears for Free. The Fafnir blader hoisted him up like a sack of potatoes. - Put you're hands on my shoulders. You're going to catch a cold if we don't get soon back to BC Sol. Shu's voice was unclear when he answered: - Free.. I am so sorry... Free hogged fast pace through the forest. Everything was blurry and wet and cold except the blader who he held on his arms. Shu was radiating warmth through his wet clothes. Small smirk rise to Free's face. Nobody would die under his watch. He would get Shu and himself back home before hypothermia would get any of them or the chasing thunder.

   Both were trembling when the warmness was numbing their coldness. Shu fell down to his knees. - Shu! Valt yelled worriedly and was instantly beside his friend rubbing towel over the albinos shoulders. Free felt something ugly feeling stab at his heart when he looked at the two childhood friends. Kristina become beside him and handed him towel as well. The owner of Bc Sol was smiling but his eyes has a sharp look. Free instantly knew he was in big problems. - Thank god that you both are okay, Kristina said motherly. Valt turned around and looked Free admiringly nearly stars in his eyes. - Thank you Free. You saved my best friend. Thank you so much. All three of them flinched at Valt's volume. Shu coughed lightly and gained the looks on himself. He slowly raised to his feet towel draped over his shoulders. Free gulped when he catched Shu's crimson gaze. - I am really sorry about the problem I caused, Kristina. Free... Thank you... you really saved my sorry life today. Valt whined pathetically when Kristina suddenly dragged him away from the two other bladers. - But.. Shuu... Kristina shushed Valt silent. Mention of Beybread distracted Valt away from the two.

   - Hmm, you're welcome this time Kurenai. Come on, we both need a shower. My room is closer than yours. Shu looked at his feet timidly. - It's okay, you helped me enough for today. Shu turned around to leave the room but strong hand wrapped around his wrist fast like a snake. - No, you're coming with me. And after were done you can tell me what's bugging you. Shu gulped and felt excitement ran over him when Free added: - You owe me you're lovely company. Like you said I saved you so reward me then. I am waiting. Blushing like a shy school boy Shu followed Free to his dorm. The day have turned for the worst to the best.
