Ken draws lazy circles to his notebook. All the homework was killing him inside but he was determined to get all done today. Then he would spend some free time with Ben. Ken send a sly glance at his friend and team captain. Puppets Besu and Keru were left to Ken's pockets this time. It was easier to use a pen without his mischievous puppets on the way. Secondly he was now comfortable enough to talk to Ben without his dear puppets. Their communication was very good. The Beast team captain reads Ken like a open book. Well nearly all was understood. - Do you want to grab something to eat? Ben suggested. Ken nodded and blushed when his stomach suddenly growled at the mere thought of food. He followed his chuckling friend out of the room. They eat at silence. Ben looked at Ken who was clearly avoiding to look at him. - Ken, this is enough, Ben's voice was firm and commanding: - Just look at me and stop avoiding me, okay. I'm not going to bite you or anything. Ken snorted: - Yeah I know. Even if you did, Keru would bite you back. Ben hummed: - And Besu would be the voice of reason just like you, Ken. The black haired boy looked adorable of being so confused. Ben continued: - I always noticed the way you would look at me, Ken. It is natural for me to sense others reactions.
