Chapter 24: Love

~1 week before- Park- After Graduation~

Seungcheol's POV

I stared at them as they hugged for a brief moment and I was debating on breakinf them off but then I remembered what I did to (Name) I stopped all of my thoughts and let it all go down the drain.

'I was such a jerk.'

I thought as I walked away from the scene and walked home holding my phone, needing someone to talk to.

"Hey, Shua can I talk with you for a while?"

~Time Skip~

I woke up from the ringing of my phone and saw that it was Joshua, a friend I made this year.

"Hmm."

I lazily said so that he knows I'm on the line.

"I heard from Jeonghan that (Name)'s heading to Harvard."

"What does that have to do with me?"

"She's leaving today."

And just like that the line dropped and I sprang up from my bed and cleaned myself up and went out my house afterwards, driving my car to the airport as I tried to get to contact Jeonghan.

"Hey Seungcheol! What do you need?"

Jeonghan said picking up my call

"Jeonghan I need to know if (Name) is on her flight now! I figured out what Da-Eun did!"

"Da-Eun? You found out about it? Aghhhh! Finally! Hurry! She's still waiting for her flight! We're in XX-XX-XX. "

With that said I sped up and arrived at the airport in no time and I began to run. I found Jeonghan soon but found that (Name) was now boarding.

Jeonghan was frantically calling her but she seemed to put her phone in silent.

''(Name)!!!"

I screamed to get her attention and she did and she smiled at me and my heart broke as hundreds of thought flooded my mind.

She waved at me before turning away to go to he flight.

'I'm sorry I didn't believe you.'

'I'm sorry I couldn't say my regrets...'

'I'm sorry I wasn't a better boyfriend'

'I'm sorry for wasting your trust...'

'I'm sorry my love'

Tears spilled from my eyes as I though of what would've been as Jeonghan patted my shoulders.

"I just want you to know I'm by your side. (Name) wanted me to be once you become like this. She'll be back. 4 years. Wait for 4 years."

He said as I nodded and smiled.

I wiped my tears as she wouldn't want me to be like this.

'Goodbye love. I hope the stars align for us to meet again.'
