The scam

Josh's POV

I look on my phone for apartments since I don't want to live in a dorm

I find one and decide that I will rent it but it's extremely cheap only $600 a month....

I go to the apartment and bring in all my things I go into my room and decorate my room, then I hear a door open, of course I get freaked out, someone's walked into my apartment....

I hear footsteps so I quickly grab a ornament from my boxes ready to hit them

My door handle turns, i see the person and hit them over the head whilst I close my eyes

Mullys pov

I bought a apartment online but it's very cheap only $600 but I guess that's a good thing, right?

I walk into the apartment with my boxes but I realise the door is already opened, I check all the rooms to make sure nobody is in the apartment, I open the last door to be hit over the head with blunt force

Josh's pov

'Oh my god I'm so sorry!' I yell

'Ugh what the hell!' He yells back at me

'Sorry.... I got a fright' I reply

'It's fine but who are you?' He says

'I'm josh!' I say

'I'm mully, but why are you in my apartment?' He asks

'Your apartment?' I reply

'Yes my apartment' he says in a firm tone

Mind
*he is a lot taller than me and seems a lot stronger too, I don't want to get on his bad side*

'Sorry mully but this is my apartment' I reply trying to sound tough

'No it isn't' he reply's slightly annoying me

'So you think it's yours and I think it's mine....' he says

'We need to find the man that Sold is this apartment!' I exclaim

We drive to the mans adress

We knock on his door

'Good day' the man says

'You scammed us!' Mully shouts at the man

'What? Oh the apartment, you didn't think it would only be $600 a month did you?' Says the man

'Well it was pretty cheap....' I say looking down at the floor

We talk with the man and he says he won't give us our money back to go and find somewhere else, so we drive back to the apartment

'Ugh now I'm stuck with you!' Mully scoffs

'Right....' I say quite offended at the statement

Mully storms to his room taking a bowl of cereal with him

*well what am I going to do.... I don't have enough money to pay for this on my own that would be $1,200 dollars!*

I go to the kitchen and look for food

'Don't touch my cereal!' Mully says

'I don't want your cereal' I say trying to be confident

'Good' he reply's

Mully goes to the living room, I really did want his cereal so I waited till he was distracted by the tv

I got my bowl of cereal and made my way to the room until I felt a hand on my shoulder

Mully took my cereal then pinned me to the wall

'God sake I told you, don't touch my food!' He says

I blush... I don't know why, I barely know this guy!

'R-right sorry' I say

He huffs and walks away

I take the cereal and go back to my room thinking about what just happened

1 hour later

Mully walks into my room

'You could knock' I say

'Whatever' he reply's

He closes the door, knocks then enters

'There, better?' He says

'Yes' I reply quickly

'So we both know we can't afford this place on our own right now, I've started working at a cafe so I can afford it on my own' he says

Mind
*so he thinks I'm just going to move out? It's fine I'll just get a dorm*

'Fine I'll move into a dorm when a spot opens, okay?' I say

'Yeah yeah whatever' he says as he leaves the room

The next morning

It's the weekend so I don't need to go to class but I guess I'll go for a walk

I get up and get dressed

I leave my room, heading for the front door

Until I feel someone grab my arm

'Where are you going josh?' He asks

Mind
*OH MY! He's way too close!*

'I- Uhm I'm just going for a walk' I reply

'Mind if I join?' He asks

'Yeah sure come along' I reply

We go for a walk, it was pretty awkward though

'Soooo.....' Mully says

'So?' I reply

'Do you have a girlfriend?' Mully asks

'No' I reply

'Why not' he says

'I-I'm gay' I reply to him

'Oh really? Me too!' He says

'Really?' I ask

'Really!' He says

We just talk about what we like to do and all small talk stuff

'My parents don't know I'm living with a guy...' I say

'And? What's the problem?' He asks

'They're very overprotective' I reply

'Oh okay' He says

We walk back to the apartment
The door is open......
Who's in our apartment.....
