Author's Note/User Agreement:

Greetings, recruit. This is Admin / Author speaking. You can call me Kasey as well, but you will run the risk of getting mixed up with the main character of this beloved story. 

Are you ready to embark on this journey? I hope so- because I know you're going to enjoy entering this world beyond our own. This fantastical land where monsters roam by day and night, and where illegal genetic experiments run wild through the woods.

I have spent five years of my life working on this beautiful story. It has taken everything out of me and more - which is why I kindly ask you that if you choose to create fanart, fanfiction or roleplay using one of these characters, you adhere to the following:

(This is a user agreement, and by proceeding to the following chapters you are agreeing to these terms:) 

1. Please always refer to the original in the description of whatever you make, ( like writing "[character] created by KaseyPasta" or linking my account), so that I can keep sharing this with you without fear of theft.

2. I adore derivative works like fanart, fanfictions and whatnot, and ships consistent with a character's sexuality are awesome! That's why I would rather open this story to you with conditions than keep it to myself! Here are the conditions:

3. While genderswaps, race, species and ship changes are totally fine, please don't alter characters' personalities, sexualities, political opinions, age (only in NSFW cases) and original gender. I'm not comfortable with it and hope you respect that! It will greatly lower my morale to keep developing this story if I see a lot of ship art for my asexual characters, or my characters holding a sign advocating for some political opinion and making people angry.

4. After studying the global differences in consent ages, I'm lowering the age for NSFW fanart to 14 MINIMUM. If you feel this is too low, study the ages of consent across the world yourself and then let's have a discussion about it.

Conclusion: My heart was poured into these characters and they would not be here without me, so please take my words to heart. Once again, I am comfortable with you changing genders and initial sexes, but not okay with you changing their political opinions, personalities and gender orientations.

Thank you for reading!  I would appreciate to no small extent your cooperation with these conditions. If you really need to break one of these rules, talk it over with me. If you can get my written consent to what you're planning, you're legally allowed to do it and you'll stay on my good side! I'd love that.
