Saint woke up and he realised that it was already dark. The bedroom was blanketed by darkness except for the shimmering blinking lights from the buildings of Manhattan. Saint guessed he had slept for quite sometime. He checked out the clock and it was 8 in the evening. He stretched and sighed. He was hungry, again. Father Jonathan always said that if one were sick, hunger was the sign that one was getting better. He missed him a lot. He missed the children at the orphanage. He lost 4 years of memories, he wondered if the kids he could remember were even the same kids now! Saint blew his breath as the urge to talk to the only person whom he was closest to, mounted. Zee seemed adamant not to allow him meet Father Jonathan. He said it was dangerous. Maybe Zee was right Saint thought. He was kidnapped and left in that abandoned building in Wisconsin. He could have died. And he was with no memories of his husband. 4 years of memories gone. Saint could not help but sighed again.Saint studied the tattoo on his inner wrist. ETERNITY tattooed in black with a simple font. No embellishment whatsoever. He wondered whether it was painful. He wondered how Zee and him agreed to have those tattoos. He promised to show him his tattoo but Saint guessed he forgot. Saint yet again raked his brain trying to remember anything he could remember about Zee. And again... there was nothing in his memory. Zilch! Nada! Saint's stomach protested again. Thinking about what Father Jonathan had said when he young, Saint smiled. He pushed the duvet away and went into the bathroom. He washed his face and brushed his teeth. He opened the bedroom door and to his surprise there was a man standing next to the door. Saint held his chest because he was a little startled.
"Hi..." Saint greeted the serious looking man.
"Evening Mr Suppapong. Dinner is ready and if you want, we can heat it up for you." He sounded very professional Saint thought.
'What's your name?" Saint inquired.
"Micheal Buchanan. You can call me Mike, Mr Suppapong."
"Hi Mike... You can call me Saint." He smiled.
"Mr Panich would not like that Mr Suppapong." The man replied.
"Oh... okay..." Saint nodded feeling a little nervous. He then walked slowly to the kitchen. Why did Zee put a man in their home? Was his safety in danger to the extent you have a very serious looking bodyguard or security with you? Saint thought. He turned around at stared at Mike and gave him a nervous smile. He was hyper aware of Mike following him with his eyes. It was much too surreal for Saint. Do all rich people live like this? Saint wondered. On the kitchen counter were a few plates covered in some clear wraps. There were burgers, steak, chicken parmesan, some salad and some pasta. Saint took a look at the dishes and decided to take the one with a burger and fries. He unwrapped it and grabbed some fries and he wrapped it back again. Saint munched on some fries and then grabbed some tissue and cleaned his fingers from the oil. He then walked back to Mike.
"Is my husband in his office?"
"Yes Mr Suppapong."
"Thank you." Saint replied. He turned around and was about to walk when Mike stopped him.
"Mr Panich instructed that he should not be disturbed." Mike explained.
"Huh...?" Saint was confused.
"Mr Panich is not to be disturbed." Mike repeated.
"But... I'm his husband... can't I see him? Talk to him?" Saint asked.
"I'm sorry Mr Suppapong... after you have dinner... you have to take your medication and then please stay in your bedroom." Mike explained.
"I ... I can't see him?" Saint was bewildered.
"I will inform him that you want to talk to him." Mike continued while Saint was baffled by what was happening.
"I can't even be in the living room? The balcony?" Saint jested.
"No Mr Suppapong." Mike answered in a serious tone wiping the grin from Saint's face.
"Oh... alright... I understand Mike." Saint nodded but he in actuality could not understand anything.
"May I know why... are you here? In my home?" Saint asked.
"There's a threat and we have to ensure safety." Mike replied and Saint nodded again.
