Chapter 4

(A/n. Hi. I honestly don't remember if I said this or not but I'm just going to put it here anyway. This story takes place during their 2nd year and this part of the story takes place during the summer. That's all I have to say so I hope you enjoy the chapter!!)

'You're pathetic!"
"How do you expect to beat a villain if you can't even beat me?"
"Get up you worthless piece of shit!"
"You were created for one reason, and one reason only. Which is to surpass All Might and become the Number 1 Hero. Now stop acting like a child and use your left side!!!!"
"Shouto that child's left side sometimes looks unbearable to me! Everytime I see it, all I see is his father. Mom, I can't do this anymore. I need to get out of here!"
"Shouto, baby. No no no. I'm so sorry. Baby, I'm sorry, please forgive me. Mommy loves you baby. Please forgive me."
  He could see now. It wasn't just voices or sounds. He saw his mother on the floor holding his younger self after she burned him.
  "Mom. I forgive you. It wasn't your fault! It was never your fault!" Todoroki said as he started to tear up.
  Todoroki tensed up when he saw his father rush into the room. He completely lost it when his father started to drag his mother away.
  "NO! Leave her alone! She did nothing wrong! It's your fault! Not hers! No. No. No. No. NO! Please stop it! Please don't take her away again you bastard!" Todoroki shouted at his father.
  Tears were streaming down his face as he saw his mother being dragged away by his monster of a father.
'yhot! Todoroki! Hey Todoroki, wake the fuck up!'
"Bakugou?" Was the last thing Todoroki said before he woke up.
  Todoroki opened his eyes and saw Bakugou standing over him with a worried look on his face.
  Bakugou took a couple steps away from the younger male so he wouldn't accidentally frighten him.
"Hey Todoroki. Are you alright?" Bakugou asked, his voice full of concern.
  Todoroki sat up and did his best to wipe away the tears that were on his face. Todoroki then looked towards Bakugou and shakily said,"I'm fine Bakugou."
  Bakugou sighed and sat down on the bed. He then looked over at Todoroki and said, "Todoroki. I know you're not fine. How do you expect me to believe that when I woke at 3 AM to you screaming 'No! Please stop it!'. I'm surprised you didn't wake my parents up."
  Todoroki feels like he's about to burst out crying , but he does his best to keep it in.
  "Hey Todoroki. Is it alright if I touch you?" Bakugou asked softly.
  Todoroki looked towards Bakugou with tears falling from his eyes and nodded.
  Bakugou moves closer to Todoroki and pulled him into a hug. Todoroki positioned himself so that his head was under Bakugou's chin.
  After about a minute, Bakugou broke the silence and asked,"So, do you want to talk about it?"
  Todoroki pulled back from the hug and wiped the tears off his face. He took in a few deep breaths and then looked towards Bakugou.
  "You don't have if you don't want to. But it would be better to let it out instead of keeping it in." Bakugou said as he took hold of Todoroki's hand.
  After taking in a few breaths, he looked towards Bakugou and thought to himself, 'Maybe I should tell him. We have known each other for more than a year and he did tell that he overheard my conversation with Midoriya back at the Sports Festival.'
  Todoroki breaths in and then started to speak, "I had a nightmare. I was basically having flashbacks of.............. 'training' with my father" Todoroki wipes his eyes and continued to speak, "I also...... I also saw my mother get taken away by that....... that monster. And then I woke up to you." 
  Todoroki then looked down and started to fiddle with his hands.
  After a minute of silence Bakugou spoke up, "You know what Icyhot. You can stay here."
  Todoroki looked towards Bakugou and gave him a confused look and asked, "What do you mean?"
  "What I mean is that you can stay here until we go back to the dorms next month because there's no way I'm letting you go back to that hellhole you live in. And if that flaming piece of fucking garbage tried to take you back, he'll have to go through me first!" Bakugou said while looking straight into Todoroki's grey and blue eyes.
  Todoroki gave Bakugou a shocked expression and said, "Bakugou, you really don't have to."
  "Icyhot! Just let me fucking do this for you damnit!" Bakugou said.
  "Wow. You really have changed a lot since last year. The Bakugou I met last year didn't care about anyone." Todoroki said.
  Bakugou looked to the side and said, "Yeah, well people change."
  Bakugou then got off the bed and looked at the time. It was 3:51 AM. Bakugou looked towards Todoroki and asked, "Do you think you'll be able to fall back asleep?"
  "Um. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to." Todoroki said softly.
  "Ok." Bakugou said as he walked towards the door. He was about to leave when he stopped and turned around.
  "Make sure you're up by 10 because we're going out later." Bakugou said looked at Todoroki waiting for an answer.
  Todoroki looked at him curiously and tilted his head and asked, "Where are we going?"
  Bakugou smirked and said, "That's for me to know and for you to find out." After this Bakugou walked out the door and went back to his room.
  Todoroki stared at the door after Bakugou closed it and thought to himself, 'Well this is a new side of Bakugou I never expected to see. I kinda like it."
  Todoroki picked up his phone and turned it on. He saw that he had nine missed calls and twenty-five messages from his father.
  "Yeah. I'll check those later..... or never." Todoroki said to himself and set an alarm for 10 AM.
  Todoroki turned his phone off and set it down on the nightstand. He then laid down and stared up at the ceiling.
'I wonder what Bakugou has planned.' Todoroki thought to himself as he started to space out.
