Today is the day. My whole career of dancing professionally depends on this audition. Who would of ever thought that just under 3 minutes of dancing can change my life. What if I fall? What if they don't like the way I look? What if they send me away faster than you can blink? "Shut up Jade. Concentrate." I said to myself in my head of course. A very tall and thin woman walked out of the audition room with her scraped so tightly into a bun I'm surprised she could move her head. All of the other girls looked a lot older than me. More experienced. Most of them had probably done this exact audition before and trying again to get in to the royal ballet school. If I got in I would only attend the summer school as I cannot leave school yet obviously. "Number 33 Jade please follow me to your audition." That's me why so soon just 5 more minutes to practise mor-
"JADE! Hurry up or you will have no audition!" Oh god I swear a vein just popped out of her neck she shouted that loud. My heart was pounding as I entered the audition room. Three very tense looking women sat before me already writing down things as I first entered the room.
"Well for a start you are wearing far too much make-up." Omg I actually forgot to take off my make-up. This can't be happening no please no. The lady who just said that to me opened her mouth again oh god.
" Also your leotard has a stain down it if you didn't already know."
Tomato ketchup stain I believe I have down my new leotard that my mum got me especially for this audition. Whoops.
" Just dance please." Thank goodness she said that whew. As I begin to dance I see the judges mouths drop and some of the girls outside are gazing at me with admiration. My big jump is coming up but I don't think I will get it so I start to jump and then... Smack. I hit the floor and I begin to lose sight and my eyes slowly close in dizziness and I lose everything.
