"You have potential"
The words ran through my mind daily. The meaning? I have no clue, I killed him before another word came out of his filthy mouth. I suppose that's what he wanted, and I suppose I gave him just that. But the flash of surprise in his old, ugly face told me he didn't expect it. What a moron.

No one ever expects it. He wasn't the first person I killed, wasn't the last either. That night things changed though, he appeared. My blood stained boots clicked on the hard cement ground, I looked up and that lanky bitch was standing there. "Who the hell are you" I said, honestly I just wanted to go to sleep. He grinned and his eyes turned a red color. Said he was a demon or some shit. I wasn't all too surprised, of course he was a demon.

I should be scared, I know I should be..but I wasn't. I haven't known fear for quite some time, I guess torture does that to you. "Physco" they called me..those dumb fucks were the ones torturing a child.

I suppose killing your family earns you the title "physco", yet it didn't bother me. You'd expect me to feel remorse, regret, something. But those bastards deserved it, from the forgotten meals to the none stop training. They were trying to raise a lapdog and they ended up raising a murderer.

It's apparent now that he's been watching me. The look in his demonic red eyes, the look of familiarity, like he's known me for years. In fact he has, testing me, making sure my soul was worthy of him.

"I can help you" he purred. His tone was smooth and rich, he was obviously trying to make me feel comfortable. I look at him bored, I'm too tired for this shit. "How." He grins once again. "Revenge." My attention peaked. I smile now, "You and your weird demon powers can get me revenge?"

"Quite certainly" I look at him curiously..he wouldn't just offer me this. He wants  something in return. "And what do you get?"  His grin widens, "your soul"  My soul? Well I guess that's to be expected from a demon. But that's it? My soul ain't worth much. I won't say I'm not surprised though. I raise my eyes to him, "deal" 

It's quite easy to say life has been drastically different since then. I have taken the demon on as my butler, original right? He wouldn't tell me his name though, but do demons even have names?

"Soooo demon what's your name, I can't just call you demon" We arrived at my manor just minutes ago. I'm sat now at the foot of my bed looking at my newly acquired butler. He turns to me, the tea he was prepping momentarily forgotten. "You may call me anything you please, my lady."  Ugh. My lady. The formalness is enough for me to barf. "Don't be so formal red-eyes"  "of course, my lady" I glare at him, cheeky bastard. "So anything I like? I could even call you Lucy or some shit?"

"Then I'll have no choice but to call you my lady, my lady" Damn "You really are a l/n butler huh......Issac." My old cats name, I miss the lil fucker. Issac bows, "Nothing else...my lady" I glare at him again, for fuck sakes..

But I guess In a way he's become my family. In the end I know he's only here for my soul but..there's no denying I consider him some fucked up version of a brother or something. *Knock knock*
Two sharp knocks, Issac. "Come in" He opens the door promptly and bows, "My lady, the guests will be arriving shortly" I roll my eyes, Earl Phantomhive. "Thank you Issac"
I lift myself off the chair I was seated on to take my butlers hand. "Still so formal Issac, nothing has changed, has it?"

He smiles, "Much has changed, my lady. We've made excellent progress" Revenge he means. I sigh, "I suppose you are correct"

It wasn't long before the Earl arrived, his butler at his side. It wasn't hard to tell his butler was a demon, they all relatively look the same, and the way Issac's eyes snapped to him gave it away. How curious. I guess demons can sense demons.

"Welcome Earl Phantomhive, I hope you had a pleasant journey." My smile is tight and proper. Formalties like that are easy to force. His butler removes his coat, "not all all"

"I must say Earl I am curious as to your butler.." His butler grins, "as am I to yours" I grin myself and turn to walk to the meeting room, "Issac make sure they find there way." With that I take my leave.

I am already seated when they walk in, the Earl takes his seat two chairs away. Issac takes his spot standing by my side and the Earls at his. "Thank you for welcoming us lady l/n"

"Please just f/n" The Earl looks at me curiously "Alright. F/n"  Issac quickly pores us tea as the Earl prepares himself. "Ciel is it?" I start. He lifts his eyes to my direction, "Indeed."

He wastes no time with small talk, "We are informed that you have information on our suspect, I'm sure you've heard we are looking for them?" I nod, of course I have. Everyone in England knows the queens guard dog. I made sure to keep an eye on him.

"Perhaps" I respond. He narrows his eyes, "What do you want for it?" I smile, "No time for fun with you is there?"

"Not when there is a killer to be found." I roll my eyes. "Loosen up Ciel, it'll do you some good." He scowls now, "I'll be just fine."

"Fine. I want to work with you." Issac looks at me surprised, "My la-" I raise a hand to stop him. "You see Ciel. It's just so boring here in my manor. Plus us working together would be beneficial to both of us."

Ciel pauses to think, "I suppose you are right. Alright so that's all you want?"

I smile, "of course I would live with you now. Just think of the power we could hold. I'm sure you've already figured out Issac is a demon."

Issac smiles now, his eyes turning a red color.

Ciel doesn't miss Issac's red eyes but his eyes never waver from mine. His butler seems to grin, "how interesting..My lord the lady l/n has a point" Ciel seems to take his butlers words into consideration.

"Lady f/n you have a deal." I smile.  Killing him will be easy. After all what kind of assassin would I be if I couldn't?
